Mangonui Motel

Had everything we needed and more. Short walk down the hill for groceries and restaurants on the waterfront, just far enough away to feel peaceful. The view was my favorite part! Definitely exceeded my expectations! Would stay here again if I ever get the chance to return to the area.

The room we stayed at looks like it has been recently renovated. It has a great view of Mangonui Bay; simply spectacular! The motel is located in a quiet area and within short walking distance of Mangonui township. We wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended

More of recommendation; i think offering better toiletries will go a long way.

Excellent host, very friendly. A litle dated but very clean and comfortable. Great views. We even survived the local walk down to the township and back up!! Loved the fish & chip shop on the waters edge. Great 4 square

Not an issue for us, but access is very steep - very close to all facilities, but above them. The walk could be an issue for anyone with mobility problems.

Beautiful views, comfy beds, nice layout, spacious, and they have fly spray available for pests.

The driveway can be daunting for new drivers, and there was a huge bug that kept my daughter up for most of the night, but other than that, we had a great stay!

A fantastic Motel. Stayed one night....would have stayed months. Incredibly well equipped. Light and airy. Private. Lawn and patio.Views were outstanding. Living room and bedroom were comfy . Short walk to town but uphill on way home. LOVED IT.

The view is stunning accommodation is lovely, village just down the hill steep but short walk up, loved the walk up past the police station to the rest of Waipu

The view was incredible, and the 4 square and galleries are only a quick downhill walk away. The space fit our 4 person family really well.

What a view!! our favorite spot stayed during the northland tour. Short walk down the hill to the four square / wharf/ pub/ fish shop. would highly recommend. The photos do not do this place justice.

The view was unmatched, friendly check in and nice privacy. It was super close to restaurants and town you could even take a trail down.

Spectacular views! Beautiful rooms with private outdoor areas overlooking the sea. Clean and well appointed.
