Lake Edge Apartments

It¿s location. It was VERY close to our intended destination!

Not really, it is old, but suited our purpose on this trip.

The entire stay was absolutely beautiful. The unit we had was extremely clean and we couldn't of asked for a better spot right on the lake. Very peaceful. Would highly recommend. It's a shame we couldn't of stayed longer.

There was nothing we didn't like

Quiet, friendly, simple, with lots of cafes and shops on your doorstep. Easy access to the lake for kayaking and fishing

No issues, perfect

Great location, adjacent to estuary and with access to kayaks and a nice walk to a playground. Shops/cafe across road. Relaxed vibe, nice lawn area (opens to the water) with pool for warmer months and a fire brazier the owner lit at night. Wharf for fishing. Nice views of inlet (especially from room 1 or 2). Rooms spacious and well-eqiupped (just no oven). Great place for families.

First impression was poor - the apparent access point to "reception" was overgrown and full of leaves, and noone around. However, it quickly redeemed itself - it's a small place with a casual approach, calling the owner on cellphone on arrival is the best way (answered every time, and super helpful).

Very cute place on the water. There are free kayaks and bbqs to use and the fire is turned on in the evening to enjoy. It's also very quiet and relaxing so loved that! The place is clean and quite big too!

The apartments are nice but could do with a little upgrade in terms of furniture. It would make such a huge difference! Also our unit (unit 3) had barely any kitchen supplies such as pots, pans, cups etc. Luckily we brought our own camping cooking stuff. A quick trip to Kmart would do.

Location Good but reception not always accessible. Also entry and exit points through one single point as there were no separate entrance and exit

The location wasn't too bad, but not a lot to do.The water pressure was good, the bed comfy.

The loungers leaked in the rain at the front windows, creating a huge puddle. The cutlery etc wasn't clean. The shower head was very loose.

The location was perfect. It’s literally right on the water with a little jetty. The shower has good pressure, there are little shops and really good eateries just up the road and the accommodation is comfortable enough for a few nights. It’s not luxury but it’s a good spot to stay if you’re planning a trip to the area for a few days.

It’s a bit tired and could do with some upgrading and the furniture is old. The cooking utensils were pretty old and a bit yucky.

Great location, very clean and comfortable

Staff was SUPER accomodating and friendly. There was a fire pit with chairs around. A few BBQs. Free kayaks to use with life jackets. Great place to book out with some friends.

I do wish there was an oven in the kitchen , and a light in the toilet. But, did just fine without !

The unit had everything we needed. Easy check in and out. The units may be older but it was clean, spacious than the average modern units and a perfect serene location by the water.Would recommend to anyone for a relaxing stay!

Easy to get to, clean, great owner, lots of activities surrounding the apartments, and great food and drinks options

This is an amazing place .The position right on the lake is wonderful, the accommodation is clean and comfortable and Steve is a great host .

The property was nice and small, so not overly busy.The kitchen lacked sufficient wine glasses and tumblers, and cups/mugs. For a unit that slept from 1 to 10, 3 wine glasses, 4 unmatched mugs and only 2 tumblers just didn't suffice. A trip to kmart and stock decent glasses and cups would be great.The lounges were not comfortable.

The bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent. Looking at the lake from the verandah and inside the unit was fantastic. Lake Edge was a wonderful place for a few days.

Absolutely stunning location. Hubby enjoyed wetting a line off the jetty and chatting to like minded guests. A really laid back & relaxed setup.

Our apartment had loose tiles & power point. Easy fixes by a handyman. Old fashioned furniture- but the view and location really make up for it.

Value for money accomodation, Not modern amenities, but clean and comfortable. Wildlife is very friendly.

My only criticism is the maintenance on the grounds could do with a bit of upkeep, and clean your BBQ's so that guests can use them ?

Everything was fine and comfortable, quite, and natural next to a beautiful lake just a few steps away.

Difficult to leave.

The unit was neat and clean. The outlook was fabulous. The pool was refreshing. Located close to shops restaurants beaches and boat ramp.

The units were showing their age but that didn’t take away from our stay

This is an older property but the owners are doing their best to keep it clean, tidy and to offer additional perks eg free kayaks.
