Yarra Valley Lodge

The french doors was such a surprise in the room and so luxurious! The fresh air and view of the beautiful landscape was glorious!

The coffee station and water station need to be spaced apart, I had to wait 5 minutes to get a juice as I needed to break through the coffee queue.

Breakfast was excellent.

Food in the bistro room was disappointing. Not good value for money. The room needed to be refurbished, Looking a bit tired.

The pillows are so thick and hard there's no way anyone can sleep on them, the bed itself was extremely comfortable though

Bar was bit staffed had to go to golf club for a drink in the afternoon.

Very comfortable bed, great restaurant with excellent food and well priced, buffet breakfast is fantastic. Handy parking under lodge, beautiful grounds surrounding, lovely for a walk--lots of kangaroos hanging around, and birds, so nice for tourists. Staff all very helpful. Great base to explore Yarra Valley.

The check in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious and the balcony was a bonus. Lovely bed and a good selection at breakfast. We enjoyed our stay!

The property is not accessible to outside facilities and a car is a must.

It was perfect for what we wanted, beautiful lodge in a beautiful location with great dining facilities and rooms. We only stayed one night but it was incredibly quiet and relaxing with super friendly staff.

The only consideration is that we struggled to find a wine tour operator that would collect us from the lodge. While we found one it wasn’t the best experience. The lodge may have preferred tour operators so I’d check with them first.

Our bed was set up incorrectly . King size bases were running parallel with the bed head as were the associated mattress's . Therefore the bed was far too small for our adult bodies.

The room was clean and very comfortable, and breakfast was great! Seeing kangaroos in the garden was such a fun experience, especially for the kids. I also really appreciated that Bella Restaurant had toys and games available during breakfast. It made dining with children much easier and more enjoyable. Plenty of parking spaces too, which was very convenient. Overall, a lovely stay and we’d happily come back!

The room didn’t include complimentary drinking water, slippers, a laundry bag, or a teaspoon for making coffee, which would have been nice additions. We had to call room service just to get a teaspoon. Overall, it was still a lovely stay and we’d happily come back.

Great location, breakfast was great with a good selection. The rooms and place was very clean and quiet, really enjoyed the stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Yarra Valley Lodge. The hotel is located in a truly beautiful setting, right next to a golf course where you can see lots of kangaroos roaming around.The property is very large, spacious and extremely well maintained. The bar and the Bella restaurant were excellent. We had dinner there and needed to make a reservation in advance, which is definitely recommended. The food and atmosphere were great.There are also many wineries in the area, all easily reachable within about 15–20 minutes by car, making it a perfect base for exploring the Yarra Valley.Additionally, you can book hot air balloon rides directly from the hotel, which start early in the morning around 4:00 a.m. For this reason alone, staying overnight here is absolutely worth it.The breakfast was also very good for a 4-star hotel, with a nice selection and good quality.Overall, the value for money is excellent. We would highly recommend staying here!

brakfast was good, kitchen staff were busy and keeping everything tooped up

the cleaner came into our room without even knocking and no hanger on our door as we didnt even want our room cleaned but they decided to enter anyway. Our safe also wasnt working.

The food and service was fantastic.

The bed's where very comfortable but it was a king bed but it was 2 king single put together and l always found the crack in the bed.

Excellent breakfast. Peaceful stay. Lovely Staffs. Thanks and we will be back again.

Setting on golf course with kangaroos was amazing. Facilities were clean and modern. Great breakfast and staff friendly!
