Eildon Lake Motel

The top floor was recently renovated. Very comfortable. We also had our pet dog (crated when inside). Was very nice accommodation and location was great for walking to shops for dinner and the local parkrun (which is why we went to Eildon).

Sadly the mattress (Room 7) was not so comfortable. But that is the only fault we could find in the place.

Room was exceptionally clean and comfy. Had everythign you needed and the heating worked well. Was surprised by all the TV subscriptions available. Hot water was hot and constant. Little pool was warm and great fun. BBQ area was well kitted out so we didn't have to run off buying the things we forgot like oil and tongs and paper towel. And was right accross the road from Eildon pondage and right next to the shops.

Two twin beds would have been better for us than two doubles. Not sure who ever needs two double beds in a room.

as we have mobility problems current renovations made access to room a little difficult - broken steps, rough surfaces, piles of materials etc. sure this will improve as work is completed

Very happy overall! Love that you can bring pets as i have a very clingy GSP ?

Only thing I would mention is the beds, not the comfiest especially for more than a couple of nights stay

I liked everything about it, the peace, quiet, staff, access and location were great.

didn't like the poor timber steps from the car park. didn't like the smoke from the next room occupants smoking outside our door.

Clean and comfortable bed. Great location.

Toiletries supplied but no hair conditioner, only shampoo and body wash. Also no face washer.

Close to the shops and the Eildon Pondage walking trail where the new parkrun is held each week.Check in was done in less than 5mins.

Very clean and easy to book via bookings.com, good price, check in and check out process easy. Excellent location. Walking distance to local shops and cafes. Good range of beds suitable for families eg two twin beds. Car park on site.

The location was good in the centre of a small town with restaurants and shops round the corner walking. The room was comfortable and reasonably well appointed. The only issue was that the wifi was spotty and I kept dropping out of business calls, fortunately only for a short length of time so I could participate. Good value choice

The room was smelly, the pool was dirty, BBQ and cooking area was dirty and looked like it had seen little in the way of cleaning.We decided to go to bed and pulled the sheets back. At this point we realised that either bed was made up without using clean sheets, or someone had used the bed and then remade the bed. There were unpleasant stains on the sheets.We had to try contacting the Motel manager and it was about 23.40 and repeated voicemails before he came round. We insisted on a new room (I wasn't going to sleep on a bed with those stains going through to the mattress!). We finally got a new room at midnight.I asked for a refund. Needless to say, I will not stay in this Motel ever again.

Shower was huge and bed comfortable. AC was amazing!

The place was at a very good location, great value for money, all the basic amenities including microwave, TV, kettle, nice beds, AC etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Washing up equipment for the dishes wasn't provided

There was no breakfast supplied or offered. Paying $179 plus $17 insurance I expected better.When our tv had no sound and would not change channels the office lady was excellent and came up to assist. The bed was very comfortable. Wifi availability was wonderful.

The stairs and balcony were in need of attention. We noticed there was a water drip from a tap at the back of the toilet going onto the floor. The town bakery closed at 3pm on Friday afternoon. Car parking was awkward.
