Howlong Golf Resort

The bathroom in the room had recently been renovated,so it was spotless and refreshing.The golf course, bar & bistro are all on site.

Fabulous overnight location en route to Melbourne, the rooms are comfortable and clean with everything you need, the pool is wonderful for a dip, the restaurant is a few steps away and has a lovely aspect from the outdoor seating, the vibe is very festive and the food is delicious!

Big rooms. Everything worked. I’ve stayed here six times. Always feels good and close to the golf and a well resourced club.

Nothing apart from Room 1 Toilet flush buttons needing some attention.

Good stopping spot to break the Canberra-Melbourne journey. The grounds were so green, we had a lovely late afternoon walk around, before having dinner at the good restaurant .

The property was clean and tidy. The apartment was modern, clean and spacious. Perfect for our family of four. We each had our own ensuite. The pool was great and the town itself was so lovely.

They advertised a tennis court but it was overgrown and closed. It would be a great addition to our stay. If they don’t want to improve it. Maybe set up a volleyball court on the grass or badminton or similar. Planet of space!

Very comfortable and clean rooms . Rooms were spacious. Location was great.

Perfect place to stop over on the way to Melbourne from Sydney: Nice pool to cool down after a long drive & a bistro on site for meals.

Great location for golfers and the club, just a couple of minutes walk. Nice pool and continental breakfast. Has BBQ area next to the pool.Enjoyed my stay there.

Bed could have been a bit softer

We really enjoyed our stay at Howling Golf Resort. We thought the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bbq facilities were very good. We enjoyed a bbq one evening. It was very convenient that the golf club was very close to our room and we enjoyed a couple of meals there. The pool was great too. We also liked that there was a disabled room available for my elderly parents to use.

That the door to the room locked on closing. We left our room key in the room once and had to ask reception for the spare key so we could let ourselves in. The same happened to my mum and dad who were staying in the disabled room next door.

Location was ok though not far from a main road.

The room we stayed in had a door to the room beside us so we could hear every conversation from next door.

Bbq facilities but no dinner plates in rooms although a full range of cutlery was profiled

Didn't order breakfast. Crockery/refreshments and cleaning products were appropriate. Proximity to the Croquet Courts being the reason for my visit. Relaxing garden environment well maintained.

Bed I used had lost its firmness. Mattress sagged under hips.Visited the Club restaurant, meals suited to venue.Competing noise of raffles, band and crowd made conversation difficult.
