Golden Haveli

We came to visit Jaisalmer to see how the kings lived and hotel Golden Haveli provided us with a royal experience!Our train was late but there was Ayub who helped our luggage to the top floor at 1AM. The room was very clean and well kept and it was a nice surprise to see the fort from our window in the morning.Ample water bottles were provided in the room.The hotel is excellent value for money. It has clean, spacious, quiet and lovely decorated rooms. Everything worked well.

If you're looking for the best place to stay on your next visit to Jaisalmer, look no further than Hotel Golden Haveli The rooms are lovely! The facilities are really comfortable, cleans and well maintained and most of all the staff is beyond words amazing! The highlight was the roof top view of the fort and its to die for. The owner is a very friendly & warm person and came in to meet and see us off when we were checking out

Excellent property in Jaisalmer. Large sized rooms with big windows, clean and tidy washroom. Very polite staff and property is also very close to nearby tourist places. Food is also very good. Much better than outside places

Best stay ever

Golden Haveli hotel is perfectly located near the fort just walking distance, with a stunning view from the rooms and from the rooftop restaurant terrace.The place is decorated with heritage look and golden stones ,food taste is so good , highly recommanded there restaurant and inviroment feeling very comfortable.The staff is very friendly and caring about its customers. It also feels like the staff enjoys working there and it gives a very good atmosphere.Overall, an exceptional experience in a beautiful property. We must Recommend this place for family

Everything is fine ?

One of the worst professionalism examples by the hotel staff. They added a 10 point review on their own for me.So here is the actual review......The hotel is old and worn out. The dining hall is the worst. I have not seems any 3 star hotel serving bread in its plastic packaging. The chairs and tables are dirty and old.Rooms size is decent but cleanliness can be improved.

Cleanliness, Professionalism

We had a great stay at Hotel Golden Haveli in Jaisalmer India. The room was large and very spacious with a very comfortable king size bed. The hotel and swimming pool were clean, breakfast was extensive and very good. All staff very pleasant and very helpful. The manager Mr Ayub Jathudan was exceptional and allowed us to overstay our checkout time so we didn't have to hang around the city for our early evening train. We would happily stay there again.

The building was beautiful and staff were lovely. We loved the window seat in the room.It was easy to walk to the fort from the hotel, approx 15 minutes along with a good view of the fort from our room.

There was building work going on in the hotel, which we were not informed about prior to arrival. It as very noisy from 9 to 5 pm. Had we known, we would have booked elsewhere. The bathroom was basic, the wet room style shower, meant that the whole of the bathroom got wet when you showered, as there was no curtain and no large lip to Leto the water in the shower area. The toilet had been placed at an angle which meant when you sat on it, it was not level! Breakfast choice was limited. It would be great if the hotel added more seating outside, as the garden area is lovely.

An incredibly enjoyable and comfortable stay at the Hotel Golden Haveli ! We were blown away by the beautiful Haveli style architecture and finishings. Our room was spacious, clean, beautifully furnished and had the comfiest bed of our entire stay in India. We had a gorgeous balcony area with a view out to the pool and garden. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the driver to take us out to the desert camps.we would highly recommend staying here and booking any day/multiple day excursions with him. All the staff were amazing

Perfect room size and privacy.

Our bathroom had a few hangers and toiletries missing.

The staff was accommodating but I think the property isnt worth the money.

The property is under construction, food is passable and the room (suite) lacked basic amenities like room heating, phone, clean washroom etc.

The hotel is undergoing an extension.. It's noisy and not clean. Food is below average. Rooms need renovation. Nothing provided in bathrooms. Not worth the price.

Worst experience. Booked this hotel for my family. Faced issues for bathing with hot water and needed to move to other rooms. Issues were not fixed by staff. Limited food options and food is very oily and unhealthy. For breakfast, only Maggie and Puri bhaji served in oil. Full hotel payment was asked at arrival. Even after sharing bad experience asked for providing best review to hotel. Poor lighting everywhere in hotel.

Structure and outside areas are great.

Not quiet perfect. needs a lot of touches here and there. Still has old rustic interiors.

Clean and modern, well maintained lobby, rooms and swimming pool. Friendly staff and prompt service. Great food in the in house restaurant. We always had breakfast there and we all enjoyed the variety each morning. The staff arranged everything for us at a reasonable cost - taxi, tuk tuk, desert safari, jeep safari etc to name a few.

Slight complaint for construction in upper floor only during the day (mostly we were out and about then).

Nice pool. Got moved to another room due to noise from renovations. Appreciated them doing that as first room was very noisy.

Was not aware there would be renovations/construction happening and that place would be so empty.

The staff was responsive to all needs.

The property is undergoing major renovations, as a result of which there was too much dust and noise. The elevators are out of order due to renovation work. This was a challenge as my 84 year old father had an issue climbing stairs. Electricity would go often, and it takes a while for the backup to kick in. Charging points do not work in the room.The staff did try to keep the dust away by cleaning frequently, but it did not work for the sort of renovation that was on. At the time of check out I was offered a box of sweets and 50% discount on my next visit. Both are good gestures but does not compensate for my inconvenience. My next trip is most likely some other place and not Jaisalmer in near future.

Everything was just perfect here. We spent two nights at the hotel and we also did one night of desert safari with them.The food, the rooms and the staff were just 10/10. Here you can eat good food, chat with the staff and sleep in a comfy and clean bed.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful especially thanks to nazir , always going out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable experience. The place was overall very nice and clean. The food was also really good, adding to the overall pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

LOCATION AND AMBIENCE OF THE ROOM . FOOD ALSO WAS GOOD

THERE WAS REPAIRING WORK GOING ON RESULTED IN DRILLING NOISE IN THE AFTERNOON
