Golden Marigold Hotel

This hotel is located a bit off to the side, but we had a truly lovely stay. The room was spacious, and the staff were incredibly kind — always genuine, smiling, and asking if we needed anything. The Indian breakfast was wonderful, and the cook would even go out to buy fresh ingredients when we ordered certain dishes, so everything was very fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a warm and comfortable stay.

Room was good and clean spacious

We loved our stay at Golden Marigold Hotel. I liked most the location of Hotel as from Room Window you can directly get the view of Jaisalmer Fort. Also, there is very good view of city from Hotel Roof Top Cafeteria. Hotel staff were polite and helpful throughout. Room was clean.We enjoyed our Breakfast and lunch there.

Staff members were very welcoming, always ready to help. The restaurant is great on the rooftop, great view! Vinod was very friendly and helped us with food.

The hotel has a calling bell which keeps ringing very loud all night. It wakes up everyone. Also the structure of this hotel and the rooms were a bit off.

Wifi was poor

The location is close to fort, the hotel is neat & clean, staff is nice. Helped us with the safari and tent bookings at reasonable price.

Parking could have been better as pigeons poop makes vehicle dirty, however as per location they can’t do much about it. Also do help in cleaning that and thank you for that guys.

The owners were fantastic, great value with breakfast included. Beautiful looking hotel. .

Only negative was the WiFi was quite poor or didn’t work

Nothing everything was perfect

The service was nice, location area had street dogs but that is common in India. Close to Jaisalmer fort though.

We stayed here for 2 nights in 3 rooms in first week of July 2024 which is an off season for Jaisalmer. I booked the rooms at about $50 per night at booking.com and later realized that the same rooms were sold at $15 to $18 per night at hotels dot com (you can check the pricing if you want). However, the booking dot com bookings had a huge penalty for cancelling which did not make any sense. It was very unethical for the Golden Marigold Hotel to charge us 3 times the regular price at booking dot com. Please cross-check all the pricing at other websites before reserving. The hotel staff was nice though no-where close to the 5-start hotel service pricing that we paid for this 2-3 star hotel.

The Hotel and their camp facilities are very good. Clean and comfortable.

Don't go for desert safari/stay with them without clarification.They just tried to get as much money as possible from me. There's no basis for the money they asked too. Such unprofessional and shady behaviour.

The hotel is really nice and everything is new and well preserved for the time they have been opened.The staff were all very nice Special thanks to the guy in the kitchen and the his helperThey have organised a very nice safari for us You can skip the village visit and "the temple" - not worth it. Everything else was fantastic!

The feeling you always feel like a foreigner and you r being charged much more then the locals On the first night one of the managers was drunk and was a bit loud , highly unprofessional in my book, sorry Unable to pay by credit card as stated , this is typical here in India , sick of it

Very polite and helpful staff. I had my train at midnight and they provided me a room for few hours to rest and freshen up after the desert safari i had booked through them. Thank you so much.

The best part was mr BILAL ,the man on receeiption was in his best what ever we have asked him he has given his best ,the location was excellent everything was near around a kilometre or 2 km ,apart from this even they have managed my late arrival as wel as I hv requested Bilal for late chkk out, he has taken care of that also & that of no charge,one word for all things "excellent" location, hospitality, ambience,food. Even they r always ready no matter what so ever any time even at 12 pm they have managed milk for my 2 year kid....thanks for all nothing much can be expected....

Really helpful staff, arranged transportation to and from hotel. Good room size, had one balcony, but no window though.

The desert trip (separately arranged by the hotel) was very very pricy and I think we were misguided. Please compare with other operators before you decide.

The hotel is very new and nicely decorated, near the Fort and with a nice rooftop view from the breakfast area. Staff was amazing, willing to help and to provide guidance about the city.Room was clean, nice mattress and sheets.Wi-Fi and TV connectivity was also good.It was a very positive experience, I highly recommend it.

Rooms were very spacious and cleans. So was the bathroom. They had a free pick up service from railway station which was a plus point. The breakfast was good( although limited options- poha/ Paratha).In all a very good stay and would definitely visit again.

Small bathroom but it was Clean. Hotel is located in a narrow lane so parking your vehicle is little tricky but it's a value for money stay.

Very beautiful property, not the type of property you would expect to have a dorm option. Comfortable bed, powerful shower, the views from the rooftop cant be beaten at sunset, view over the whole fort!! Less than five minutes to the fort entrance on foot. Staff are incredibly hospitable. In all, an excellent option if visiting Jaisalmer. I would definitely stay again.

Personally, i have no complaints, expectations were surpassed.
