I like the location and convenient due to the restaurants nearby

I think they need to update the room security lock. It’s so outdated with only keys to enter.

Swimming pool is not temperature controlled ,lighting was not sufficient near to beach area

Some basic in room needs were missing. E.g toilet paper and milk/coffee / The pool area gets very busy and noisy

Almost everything in the room felt outdated. The TV remote didn’t work, and when I opened the back, the batteries were completely rusted. They had no replacements, so they swapped the TV for a basic one and asked us to use our own laptop to connect to it. The phone was working at first, but the wire got disconnected when we tried to use it.We’re from Dubai, and after checking out, my friend realized she had left her gold bracelet on the side table. She immediately contacted the property, but they said they couldn’t find it. My friend insisted it had to be in the room since we went straight home after checking out and told them we would return to look for it ourselves. Despite this, they kept suggesting she might have lost it elsewhere and informed us that they couldn’t hold the room unless we paid for an additional day. Is this really the standard protocol when a guest leaves something behind?When we returned, the bracelet was eventually found—broken—in the trash that had been collected from our room. While we understand it’s our responsibility to check our belongings before leaving, proper cleaning should have revealed the bracelet on the side table instead of it ending up in the garbage.

A place for a quiet, peaceful vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything is clean. The food at Backwaters is good and reasonably priced. We had a wonderful vacation. I recommend it for a quiet family vacation.

It would be nice if there was sea beach

We really liked the calm and peaceful environment of the resort. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind away from the city noise. The atmosphere was very serene, and we truly enjoyed the quiet surroundings.

Toiletries were not available in the chalet, and we had to contact the staff to get them. It would be nice if these essentials were provided beforehand for guests’ convenience.

The Thunder Road restaurant was awesome, amazing, tasty, nice, you name it.The room i got was OK.

That Backwaters restaurant was just bulshit.Food was disgusting, got diarrhea on my way back home,The waiters does not understand or have limited English.They could not explain the menu, and I got the food thet she wanted to give me..

The location is amazing. The size of the bedroom is great! A lot of space we had.

Very limited options of food specially in breakfast. Can hear next door guests noises/TV/music. Limited parking spaces.

Pool was Good and seems well maintained.

Room had a smell, needs deeper duct cleaning and sanitizing.

Rooms are spacious, view beautiful. An amazing facilities. Kerala restaurant Wow.

The reception gave us a pleasant surprise by upgrading us from two studio rooms to a premium 2-bedroom suite for our family of four. This made us very happy!The infinity swimming pool was nice, with a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast was okay for Indian tastes, but there were not many continental dishes.

One issue was that leftover plates on the dining tables were not cleared quickly, so guests had to manage on their own. The staff seemed unable to handle the rush during breakfast, possibly because of weekdays and public holidays.

I liked the weather surrounding the area , I liked the swimming pool as it’s filled with a very warm water that makes my body relaxed, I like the security measures the property taking in consideration to insure the safety of the residence and also I liked how the staff was welcoming and cooperative in a very quick response.

I didn’t like that there is much of crows surrounding the place specially at day time where I couldn’t be comfortable to move around the property freely as it fly’s beside the humans while they are moving around the property during day time

Peaceful, rooms and staff

Food is very expensive, there is nothing nearby food options. The property charges premium to that advantage

A “beach” resort without a beach…

everything. we even borrowed a volleyball and the staffs were very nice lending it to us.

everything was super nice, maybe a heater should be installed for the pools.

Nice rooms

We always come to this resort, every year. This time we were very disappointed as there was a big event and couldn’t enjoy our stay at all. Music was that loud that we didn’t even hear TV in the living room - so we couldn’t use that room. If someone informed us about this in advance, we would cancel the booking, it was money waste! In the property rules is even written no loud music allowed, and that was not followed. Netflix on TV didn’t work either but that doesn’t matter as we couldn’t hear the TV sound over the music..
