Rolleston Highway Motel

Large spacious unit, great shower, staff were friendly and courteous, very clean unit and environment, and blackout drapes guarantee a great sleep in, loved it.

The only negative was its proximity to the main road, a little traffic noise. however the quality of the build negated a large percentage of noise.

I got everything I wanted and more - spacious room and bathroom, super clean, great bed and quality linen and such lovely staff from the helpful housekeeper to the friendly manager - would definitely recommend if visiting or passing through Rolleston.

Yes, there is some highway noise but nothing like I expected from a highway motel at all.

Convenient location, clean tidy and modern. Friendly staff. Close to motorway, but once inside unit was very quiet.

No towel rail in the bathroom. Concrete curb outside the room was hard to see at night - so a bit of a hazard.

Spa Bath was excellent

While against the highway the motel was quiet. It is within walking distance to downtown Rolleston (15 minutes) and about the same to the main shopping center of Rolleston (New World Market / Woolworth's/ Thai Terrace Restaurant / Warehouse and other shopping and restaurants). The studio had a full kitchen and a comfortable bed with instant coffee, tea and hot chocolate available. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

it is a little off the beaten track, next to a couple of takeaways (which we did not try) and a fire station.

The room was large, modern, clean and comfortable- even had a kitchenette which was a bonus.

It was clean, good beds

No soap in the shower

Great location for our needs. Clean and tidy. Finally a motel with no white towels.

Pillows were a problem for me. Too soft

Good location for our needs. Super clean room. Warm and comfortable.

Breakfast bowls and spoons were missing in our unit. But promptly bought to us once mentioned. Pillows on beds were not great. I'll take my own next time.

Very clean, warm, excellent helpful staff, good location

Bed was uncomfortable but someone else would probably like it. personal preference

Good room, clean bed and clean bathroom

The road noise

The staff were friendly and helpful. They provided us with a free courtesy van for the night dropping us off and picking us up from a wedding near by. They were so accomodating. It was really appreciated as getting Ubers would have been costly and difficult. It was providing and over and above service. Thank you!

Manager went out of her way to help when we had left our room key in a vehicle at an event. She provided an extra key asap.

Road noise on balcony, but it was quiet in our room.

Located close to the industrial area and local shops and restaurants

The rooms were very clean, warm and comfortable. We were very happy with our stay.

We rung ahead to ask about an early arrival but the person on the desk didn't know anything about it.

Good location great room.

The room had been painted recently and there was a bit of a paint smell as the room had been closed up.Was fine after windows had been opened.

Size of room. Staff. Bed

Very nice room Everything as it should beConvenient location

Only that we didn’t have much of a view but there’s nothing anyone can do about that

Very accommodating to our needs. Friendly staff, comfortable unit and rooms, space to relax.

Handy location. to Christchurch. Very clean and tidy.

Near a noisy highway but soundproofing helped .
