Broadview Motel

Easy to find. Living area was spacious and roomy bedroom. Comfy bed. Kitchen equipped with all we needed for breakfast and it was lovely to be offered a jug of milk for the unit. Quiet, didn't hear the traffic or any neighbours.

Mirror in the living area was warped, but bedroom mirror was fine. No obvious power point for hairdryer in the bathroom, maybe I just didn't see it. Also, no power points on one side of the beds and dust/cobwebs behind beside when I pulled it out to check for powerpoint. Shower nozzle restricts water flow.

Check-in simple with host David who offered dinner/drink hints, comfy living room with great TV, well-stocked kitchen, excellent WiFi, friendly outdoor kitties, and REALLY NICE TOWELS!

Twin beds were a little soft on the edges, so had to be careful not to slip off

Staff were very welcoming and hospitable. The apartment was really big, clean and well furnished. The bed and linens were really comfortable. Surprisingly quiet considering we were next to the main road.

Having an oven would have been nice, but they are clear in the description what is there and the hotplate and microwave were fine, so no real grumble.

The room was large and very clean and comfortable. More than met our expectation. Linen was great.Would recommend staying if your passing through. Although on highway the traffic wasn't too much of a bother.

Shower was tight and you had to step up into it and the shower rose was hard to manage. The couch needs replacing.

The bedrooms were spacious. Everything was clean with all we needed in the kitchen. The host was friendly and helpful. The rooms had been updated.

Nice and clean with plenty of room in the unit. The only downside was noisy trucks on the highway... especially middle of night.

A great location, handy for Kaikura, easy to find, in very good repair and a pleasant helpful owner. Not to mention a good pub just across the road. Exactly the sort of thing you hope to find in rural New Zealand.

Slightly close to the road so noisy if you're a light sleeper. I was absolutely fine but my husband did notice the lorries.

Couldn't believe what we got for our money. Really big lounge/ kitchen/diner. Great large bedroom and friendly staff. Would recommend it to anyone.

Well situated and easy to find, comfy rooms. Fine with our late check in.
