Quiet location with patio to enjoy the view

The view was amazing! Beautiful sea view! The room was very spacious and had a nice kitchenette. It also had comfortable chairs and a very nice balcony

There was a heat wave during my stay and the room was as not air conditioned. There was a fan in the closet, but I was unaware of that until my second night there. my first night was pretty hot, sticky and uncomfortable. The second night was an improvement which they had mentioned the existence of the fan to me.

Proximity to Pier Hotel and lovely walks around the waterfront. Managers and staff were lovely

Really can't call this the PANORAMA anymore as there are a whole bunch of apparently protected trees that stop what used to be a great view. When the staff cleaned our rooms, they left our wet towels that we had hung up as we were not sure if we would get a room clean on the second day. We won't make that mistake again. I went down to office to get toilet paper as they only left us with a small amount. We were given two rolls and later when we got back to our room, they had taken the second one back :)Bed was like sleeping on concrete.

The accommodation wasn't what we expected as per the advertisement on Booking.com. We had thought our room was located with a lawn area and balcony back off the street

Small room Not enough towels. We were given only one face towel and when we requested another one from the front desk, the staff person asked can’t you and your husband share a face towel?

Nice balcony overlooking the beach. Clean and comfortable.

A bit far from the centre of town but we had a cat so it wasn’t a problem.

Location and outlook

Noise from traffic and light from carpark which shone straight into unit all night

WiFi is excellent. Room is a bit small for 3, tho. Clean and good location. Everything is pretty clean.

Streamin from Sink faucet is easily to spill out of the sink. What about trash can in the bathroom.

The view was amazing. Waterfront. The room was spotless. Very well kept property. Just a short walk to the Pier for drinks and a meal. Accommodating friendly owners.

I wanted more nights!

Location is great, each room has a carpark space, room size is decent for 3, kitchen and bathroom facilities is good. Nice view from the room. Value for money

Property was clean with good views

The walls were very thin, we could hear our neighbour brushing their teeth and were awaken from them snoring.Some furniture could do with being replaced.

This motel is one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in and the view across the road was phenomenal, staff were super friendly and helpful and location was excellent.

Amazing service and the hosts were so welcoming, which is few and far between nowadays; we have a Teacup pomeranian who has alopecia so unfortunately having him usually lands us in the dingiest of rooms, but not here.The room was exactly as advertised and exceptionally neat and clean. The only thing I can fault is the fact we haven't stayed here earlier!!5* at this price.

For us it’s in a great location for us to walk across the road and photograph the sunrise and sunset with interesting rocks. Have always stayed here when traveling to Kaikoura.
