Kaikōura TOP 10 Holiday Park

Very spacious two-bedroom unit, with well-equipped kitchen. Loved the close proximity to the city center.

The only downside is that it is close to the train line, but I was aware of that before booking

Good value .. Hot tub was and added bonus for $10per 30min.. Have stayed at a few TOP 10 facilities and would recommend these to help keep accommodation costs lower than most others..

Bed can be a bit of a hit or miss re comfortable mattress..

Clean tidy and comfortable. Loved the heated floor in the morning. Very comfy beds.

The two bedroom apartment is amazing! Spacious, modern, clean and fantastic facilities including washing machine and dryer. Lots for the kids to do at camp.

I loved that it had a designated seating area, comfortable bed, great kitchen area and a clean bathroom.

Nothing to dislike

Top ten seem to be consistently good amenities , staff , location and safe place to stay. Staff were very accomodating with me as I stuffed up a booking date and when beyond to help me out .

We didn’t realise we had to book the hot pool and when we arrived it was already fully booked for the duration of our stay. We would have pre-booked this if we would have know.

Lovely spacious unit, with a very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom facilities. Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, great laundry, close to eateries—the Beach House across the road was particularly good.

Met our needs for a night to get organised before travelling on the ferry to Wellington.Laundry facilities were great. room was clean and organised.Offer of Spa pool was tempting and reasonably priced but didn't have time to use unfortunately

Chalet backed onto State Highway one - bit of traffic noise.Bed was a bit lumpy

We booked one of the cabins (cabin 12). The cabin was quite big, the bathroom was clean and sufficient. The interior was not the most modern one, but we liked it and it did its job. We used the pool, which was clean and nice.In general I can recommend this accommodation.There are two drawbacks:In the description on booking.com, a climate control was mentioned, yet there was none in the cabin (I asked the staff about it as well). Here the owner should correct the description.The main street through Kaikōura was directly behind a big hedge behind our cabin. The big trucks and also the normal cars driving by were heard and felt, when the whole structure and the cupboards were starting to shake. If you're unlucky enough to get a cabin on this site of the park, don't expect to sleep until after 7 am.

Clean and walking distance to town.

Prices. There was a group of four units booked, all identical and prices ranged from $131 - $181, the highest was for a single person. This is not justified!

Ease of booking and staff very helpful.The room was well presented, though the furnishings are looking a little tired and dirty looking
