Quaint, quality furnishings, attentive staff, great breakfast

The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean and comfortable.

That the bathroom facilities, while clean appropriate were just down the hall so not bad, just not superb.

Breakfast in the annexed conservatorium was absolutely delicious - and healthy too! Our corner room was bright and airy with real fresh flowers, clean, warm and it had a lovely relaxing vibe. :)

I'd loved to have had chai included amongst the hot drink station options. :)

The staff were super friendly and it was located very close to the red velvet lounge which had a band on Friday afternoon. We had not known that there as a degustation menu at the Old Bank the night we arrived but we would have gone to that. We will go again. It’s a bit expensive but the incorporation of services, great comfort and the breakfast was amazing. Lots and lots of flowers and the attention to the little things made it special. Also a separate chill out area just for us was special. It even had our own fireplace, lounge and dining room! The pancakes at breakfast were in the top 3 pancakes I have ever had! In summary, very good but could have been a little cheaper.

Gorgeous, loved the history behind it. Cafe downstairs is lovely. Staff are great and so is the food and coffee!

I have only one niggle.The mattress was old and lumpy in my room and for $200 a night I would love a luxurious bed to sleep in.

OMG... I have died and gone to bed heaven. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed was the most comfortable thing I have ever experienced. The staff, the best!! The check-in was welcoming and personal. The breakfast we had was delicious.People have commented on the bathroom being across the hall, this was not a problem, I never once saw any other guests on my many trips to the bathroom, I probably could have done a nudie run. It is no different then walking down the hallway if you were in say a 2 bedroom apartment. The personal touches were amazing. There were sweets, wines etc that you could help yourself to on an honesty system. The fridge in the room was well stocked, there was access to additional personal items... the list is endless

Nothing, there is nothing to not like. Oh, maybe one thing, we were driving around tassie and had 2 large suitcases, so it was easier for us to use the fire stairs to bring our luggage to our room... this was not ideal, but it didn't take away from our experience at all. Maybe something that we should have thought out better and packed and overnight bag in preparation.

Small basin bench, toilet acres the hall. Non soundproof rooms. No air flow.

The rooms we well appointed. The ability to order dinner was a great idea. We really like the apple and pear orchard in the back.

While we had our own bathroom we had to cross a corridor to get to it and the door was really creaky.

Loved the room size, luxury of bed linen and comfort, location, history of the accommodation and the great conservatory cafe attached to the bank for a huge breakfast included. They also offer a discount on additional meals purchased. The lovely staff even offered a menu for small evening meals to have in your room when they are open. There is another mini fridge, coffee machine, microwave and a selection of teas outside the room for each of the 3 upstairs rooms to use. Also having the laundromat right across the road was very handy indeed.

Each bedroom had their own private bathroom, however it was a little different (and sometimes awkward) to use at night as it was down the hall and not in the bedroom. This is probably to be expected in old buildings.

The Cygnet Old Bank heritage accommodation was a pleasant surprise. The elegant rooms, cosy guest lounge with fireplace and delicious breakfast served in the Conservatory Cafe exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful B&B in a great location, the rooms were cozy and comfortable. There is only 3 rooms and we didn't hear and of the other guests during our stay. The breakfast included at the cafe was delicious and staff were very friendly. Was close to walk to pubs for dinner and near an IGA for any other supplies needed.

The property was immaculate, the bedding and facilities were 1st class . The owner Sharon has an absolute passion for the business and has ticked every box, this is also reflected in the customer care from the staff.

We were having a day trip to Bruny Island so wanted to leave early but breakfast didn’t start until 8am.....but chef was in early and made us some lovely sourdough toast...fridge, team & coffee in your room

Comfy bed, beautiful decor, exceptional service, delicious breakfast, stunning gardens.
