You can get better option nearby, not as clean as one would like to be at this price I paid

Not very comfortable living space for lounging. Too many tables in the wrong spots taking up real estate to accommodate another chair. Also hot tub did the same. Might have been valuable to others but we didn’t use it.

Our cabin was clean and comfortable and well located to enjoy the Cradle Mountain National Park. We were travelling with a 2 year old, so appreciated the ease of going back to the cabin for a nap or popping out quickly late of an evening to see the wild wombats and echidnas.

Location to park was excellent, very comfortable, clean, spacious and good cooking facilities.

The shower had mould in the grout, but rest of bathroom was clean

went to near by restaraunts, shop at discovery had items we could buy to cook

we forgot to bring supplys for breakfast and snacks

This was our third stay at Discovery Resorts- cradle Mountain and it never disappoints. Cabins are clean and comfortable. We love spending time in the lounge where you can have a drink and play boardgames by the fire. Great coffee too.

Superb location that’s walkable to the visitor’s center. The cabin was comfortable and clean.

Very pricey but it makes sense since they can charge that. You’re paying for the location and ease of getting to local sites.

Great location, excellently sited and equipped chalets, friendly and helpful staff. Very good dinner with fabulous views of Cradle Mountain.

We only spent one night at the resort, but were happy with the cabin. It had enough room for the family and good facilities. We were too late to book a dinner at the restaurant, so that was a bit disappointed, but we considered such and option and brought enough food for the dinner and breakfast. Obviously not much choice being on the mountain. The location is the best thing for this resort. It's 5min walk to the information centre. You can have an early start of the hiking for the day and make the most of your day.

The only thing is lack of food options. The Discovery Resort has one restaurant and also there is a hotel nearby with a restaurant. That's about it. So be prepared to bring some food on your own or try to book a table in advance.

Modern and comfortable cabins at a great location with views to Cradle Mountain.

Great location for exploring cradle mountain national park. Beautiful view of Cradle Mountain from the restaurant, and we loved exploring the trails through the resort in the evening with the kids to see the wallabies and possums

* Great location, virtually at the entrance, of The Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. It was less than 5 minutes in the car from our cabin to the carpark. * Very spacious cabin for 4 adults + 1 child offering 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a large living room; also an area for dining and a kitchen on the side. * Restaurant meals were fantastic! On the first night we dined in, on the second evening we relaxed in the lobby area ordering pizzas which were on offer. These were very tasty and the flat whites each day were also a great way to kickstart the exploring :)* We arrived with 2 cars and both were able to be parked directly in front of the cabin which was top!

* Nothing comes to mind. Even snowy conditions and cold low temperatures were part of the fun and overall experience in mid-December (summer).

The spa lodge, self contained was great. The restaurant and view from there was also wonderful.

The ridiculous extra cost if you wanted to use the sauna facility.

Excellent 2 bedroom apartment, very well equipped. Instant hot water, electric blankets and heaters available.Great location near visitors center for access to Cradle Mountain shuttles, we even saw an echnidna walking down the road to our apartment. Would definitely recommend.
