Beds were terrible, extremely noisy, with no soundproofing between the walls (very unpleasent)

The location was fantastic .Rooms very spacious.

Our room had an adjoining door to the next room .Unfortunately the noise from the neighbouring room travels through the door.

I was not sold on the place when I got there but then I met the lovely owner/reception lady who directed me to where my room was. I was able to park in the street right across from my room which was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable with great bathroom facilities. There is also a big pool inside the hotel. The hotel is located in St. Helens right after you enter the town and the Bay of Fires is easily accessible from there. Good value for money if you plan on staying in St. Helens.

Everything was fine and I had nothing to complain about.

Although the hotel is older, the rooms were massive, and they were clean. It was centrally located, had ample parking offside and the bonus was the restaurant onsite. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations.

Had a great stay here. The property is very close to the beach, and it’s only about 20 minutes from the Bay of Fires, which made it perfect for exploring the area. The place was comfortable, clean, and a really good base for the trip.

Great location beachfront (although we didn't have a view). Sports bar and Bottle shop next door. Friendly staff.

The view, how close we were to all the shops and walking tracks, the staff were polite and helpful and the food was amazing

The hotel had responded very quickly confirming our booking when the notification of bushfires close by was on national news.The friendly greeting by Rachel was nice and efficient after a long drive.We ate there both nights as the portions were huge and tasty (and we were hungry!) plus the prices were very cheap so great value. No room for starters and desserts so a re-pricing model with smaller portions should be adopted to encourage the purchase of starters or desserts.The bed was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room in the room for two people but not a third with suitcases and bags etc.

When we returned from our first day out, neither of the two key cards worked. Although the man at the bar/reception reprogrammed them, he didn't seem to think any further investigation was necessary as to why.Furthermore, once we did get in, we found that the lockable bar to the rear door was left open when it was certainly secured when we left. I was thanked by the female reception lady as I left for letting her know so she could alert her cleaners.The bathroom tap body was loose and the opener very stiff making it awkward to operate.The shower water came hot and cold with no warning!

Just loved the location. Friendly helpful staff. Access to laundry facilities.

Motorcycle crowd were very loud until 1am. perhaps some signage reminding guests to respect the rights of others would be useful. Quiet after 10pm.

The staff were great being and older couple they said oh the room we have given you is not right for you as the shower is over the bath and promptly changed the room to a walk in shower which was great. Room had direct access to the pool, it was also very comfortable

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful with advice on local sightseeing. Bed was comfortable and heated blankets were a plus! Also having the microwave plus kitchenware very handy to prepare basic meals. Had a cute view of the bay right from our room yet still with privacy due to the mirror finish of the windows.

Food options were great and beverage prices exceptional! Staff were friendly and the location was perfect. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family.
