Location and wonderful view over The Nut.

The location is perfect, walking distance to town (5mins) and it’s an awesome view being set back from town a bit because you can see more. Super quiet and peaceful.

Location was great. Everything was clean. Hot chocolate at the bar overlooking the nut was exceptional.

The view was perfect — close to the restaurants, the beach, and the Nut. We had a really good stay at the hotel.

our friends had a room with a view and spa and we just had the view which was fine... i think we got the last two rooms they had as ours was a handicapped facility. the toilet was not super convenient location and cold but the room and view were very nice overlooking the nut ., we would book again no questions.

Located above the Stanley township with The Nut in the background is outstanding. The view is magnificent. Conveniently located close to shops and restaurants. The motel had parking near the room and we made use of their laundry facilities.

The views are spectacular. The property was easy to find and the receptionist gave us some good info about the area.

The shower was difficult to access.

Beautiful, clean rooms with amazing views of Stanley and The Nut. Very friendly & helpful reception lady. 5 mins or less into town centre.

Location is perfect. Beautiful view of the iconic nut from the room, watched a stellar sunrise! Didnt get to try the spa as only there for 1 night, but it looked a great size and clean! Bed was spacious and comfortable!

Unfortunately we were under attack all night by mozzies, there were heaps in the room (I stayed in another room a few days later and the same thing) - they do have repellant under the sink, but we hadnt known we would need it and only found it in the morning. Also in this room on of the outside lights shines directly in the window, so it was very bright while trying to sleep. It does go out much later in the night.There are mini bar/snack options - but we didnt want any thing so they were more a hinderance to the space than anything else.

We had a perfectly located room at the end of the front row. We were closely located to the childrens playground as I had kids with me, but they are just that little bit older so didnt make use of it.The unit was spacious and comfortable. We had amazing sunrises from the balcony and lovely to sit and watch the township from.Beds are comfortable and the unit it tidy and well furnished.Location is spot on!

We must have arrived in mosquito season, as there were many through out the unit. Luckily I had stsyed here a few days prior and later learnt that theres repellant provided under the sink. I was able to spray the rooms and get rid of the problem quickly.The units are very sound proof we had neighbours drinking and talking quite loudly late into the night, which was a bit disruptive, but not a fault of the Hotel. Again, as per my last review.. the mini bar stock takes up most of the room in the fridge. For a three night stay it didnt leave us much room for out items, Id prefer there was an option to not have this, as I dont drink, it takes up usable space and everytime you open the fridge everything falls over.

Parking was hap hazzard.There was plenty of space but it was confusing as to WHERE to park when close to other rooms opposite.Lines would help..? or even instructions on a map...,Wouldn't stop me staying just slightly annoying

Cute place! My room only had a small window looking out onto a balcony which people would walk past so no real view at all, this made it a bit cramped. A nice 20 minute stroll into town which was very quiet. Would stay again.

Good location, comfortable stay. The Stanley Seaview Inn has a a lovely lounge bar area to look across to Stanley but due to the design, after bar closing, it becomes a wasted resource. The staff were helpful and friendly and provided red light torches for penguin viewing at Stanley. A superb experience. Penguin viewing at the the penguin viewing area at Godfrey's Beach in Stanley, Tasmania, was constructed by the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service. A fantastic outcome. The viewing area itself has red lights (the very red photo was taken on an older iPhone 10 and the same, less red photo provided is modified by photo software to see the penguin more clearly. People can experience the little penguins, it is still good to bring a red light torch, it was a pleasure to see all people being quiet and respecting the penguins from the viewing boardwalk provided. Well done the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service.

Unfortunately the design of the bar/ sitting room is such that after the staff 'close the bar', they need to close the common/ sitting room which is a pity if you are travelling with friends and you wish to get together without having to go out to another local venue.

Great room and fantastic view of Stanley and The Nut and 2 mins from town

A lovely lounge under utilised as it is locked off from 6pm and is the only area to spend time with travelling friends. Lock the bar area if staffing issues necessitate but leave lounge area available.If staffing is available it is a great opportunity to have bar open.

Good sized room and bathroom. View of The Nut and easy access to everything. Comfortable bed.Nothing to dislike.
