Amber Court Motel

Very clean, great bed and excellent value

Very good hotel with a clean and warm room.

Clean, quiet, excellent location, great value, very hot showers!

The hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the city center and the lakefront. The neighborhood was quiet. The rooms were very clean and well-stocked. This was a great place to stay for our visit to Milford Sound.

The owner agreed to meet us early and give us a key since we were going to be checking in much later than the normal time period. Everything was very clean and tidy.

I thought the location would be viewing the water or at least mountain view‘s. Hotel is dated and needs to be updated.

Good location. Convenient. Large room. Large fridge. Comfortable beds.

Old and dated. This is NOT a 4 star lodging. Odd odor at first, but dissipated the following day. Air conditioner was difficult to work. Bathroom is old. Shower is small and dark, not updated. We were required to clean the kitchen before we left.

Friendly, helpful staff. Spotlessly clean facility.

Being provided just two of everything - knives, forks, spoons- felt stingy and made it not so easy to cook.

The property was small overall but our room was large. It appeared to be newly renovated and was very clean

The owners have done a great job of modernizing and up grading their units. I had a very spacious suite with living room/kitchen, bedroom, and lovely bathroom. This all made Amber Court a great place to relax. Te Anau is a great location to lay back or go out for adventure.

Good and close to everything.

Quite dated, and the old facilities. The exhaust fan didn’t work in the bathroom and the heat pump makes funny noise, but it was clean and comfortable!

Good location and value

Small lounge in the living area with little other seating. 2nd room was a loft that is open to the lounge

Clean, great to have laundry facilities and great value for money. And the staff were just so friendly and accommodating. So appreciated upgrade. Always lovely to have excellent service. Thankyou!

Spacious and clean unit. Seperate large bathroom and two large bedrooms. We utilise only one room. The king bed is super comfortable. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with full kitchen. The fixtures do needed an update.

The motel room was spacious , very clean and well equipped. It was dated in appearance and quite dark. The bathroom was clean and had everything you needed. The bed initially felt comfortable but when one person moved so did the other. Ok for one night stop over.

Aaron was a wonder host. The rooms (we had to book 1 night separate from the other 2 to make reservation online) were both very comfortable. Walk to town centre, DOC Info center and the walking paths around the lake were all very close by.

The bathroom heater did not work in our first room and was missing in the second room. Water temperature regulation in shower was very sensitive: needed to take care not to get water too hot

Great location. Very clean. Nice host.

Water temp in shower difficult to regulate and the heater in bathroom did not work.

Very convenient to the town center and it was very clean with friendly staff

Well-equiped kitchen with a gas stove. Clean room.

The location is far away from the town center.

Not too many rooms. It is quiet and clean.

Nothing serious.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and bathroom facilities seem updated.

Kitchen facilities are a bit outdated.
