Location was great, just down the street from the shops. We really only used it for one night to enable us to go to Milford Sound early and we only arrived late in the afternoon and left very early in the morning, so basically it was just a bed for us.

It was extremely pricey compared to other accommodation we had in NZ. It was even more expensive than Queenstown and was actually the most expensive accommodation we encountered in the whole south island. We stayed in much nicer accommodation in Christchurch and it was a third of the price. Having said that , it was a lovely little house, very clean and met our needs. We were able to utilise the outside table for a few drinks and nibbles and it was a lovely setting.

Location was great, and it was a perfect stay for a night before heading to Milford. House was comfy and had everything that we needed.

The house was in a quiet neighborhood but walking distance to everything you need. The grounds were lovely. We didn't utilize the kitchen for cooking, but it had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again!

The mattresses were a little uncomfortable for some, but that wasn't a sentiment shared by everyone.

Comfortable 3 bedroom house ! Location was within a short walk to restaurants and town and on a main road which made it an easy stop to be picked up by tour companies

2 bathrooms and laundry were helpful.

    Was bit expensive

we stayed here before and after doing the kepler Great walk. We had plenty of room to pack our backpacks and unpack on return and do some washing. We were able to leave our rental car which was great. A short walk into town and down to the ferry

Lovely place, very warm and lots of space for our large family. Loved having us all around the 8 seater dining table.

Couches are a little weak and creaky.

Older style house. Warm and inviting. Exceptionally clean. Walking distance to the shops.

Convenient location, the kitchen, dining and bathrooms were renovated

Bedrooms looked a bit dated but overall still comfortable.

Location easy to find and mostly well stocked. Spacious.

Creaky floors. Heater settings not optimal as described in instructions.

Nice place but the price per night was too high for the value of the property and location and town

I thought $450 for a small 3 bed house per night was a little over priced. Although the house was nice and had everything we needed. I live in Wanaka and you get a similar house there for $350 per night - so I think this was a lot and would look for somethign cheaper next time.

It was lovely to stay in a place with an atmosphere like "home", warm, well set up, very comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Tinny was very friendly and especially accommodating us in going the extra mile to make sure we are not stressed about our accommodation challenges...We appreciated the games and DVDs available to use.We loved everything about staying here...at the start and end of our trip...especially the hot showers after our tramping.

The communication between booking.com, the owner and us...Tinny was great, but being a bit inexperienced in changing dates after booking, got the better of us. Sorry to say that the booking system procedures via booking.com could have resulted in a disaster, taking into consideration one do not always have reception when tramping.

Our hostess Tinny was very friendly, helpful and informative. Our group consisted of four adults and one child, so three bedrooms was ideal. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and other rooms were fair-sized and comfortable, with the added bonus of a patio braai facility. Not luxury, but clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced; and I would highly recommend for a large family

    A little dated
