Lakeview Colonial Motel

A room was nice with a beautiful view. Huge advantage is a drinkable water in room.

Wish they have changed my towels, because i left on the floor.

Lovely location a short walk from city centre with lovely views. Older but nicely modernised while still maintaining a homely feel. Good off street parking. Very friendly and caring service by onsite staff.

TV a little fussy to use, and it is on the main road but reasonably insulated. Most rooms have many steps/stairs so ask ahead if guests not so mobile - then choose room 1 which has only a few steps - we knew beforehand so it worked very well.

Not in the town centre but that suited us. Room was comfortable and clean but maybe a little tired looking. We would stay again.

What an amazing place! Everything about the room was like it was brand new, there were the most stunning mountain views and lakeviews, and a private deck to enjoy it all. The manager who checked me in was very thorough and helpful and escorted me personally to the room to be sure I was well oriented.

There's only one negative and that didn't bother me personally, but if you stay there you need to be able to handle a few stairs because it's perched on a hillside and that's the way to get from the car park to your room. Just be prepared is all.

Friendly staff, easy location for tour bus pickup.

Loud rooms with highway noise and noise from neighbors. Very musty smelly heater/air conditioning. Overall very run down condition.

The view from the picture window was beautiful.The staff help carry our luggage in and out of our room, because of our age, which was great.They would also do your laundry for you at a reasonable charge within 24 hours or least.The tour bus to Mulford Sound stop at the city bus stop right outside the door and dropped us off about 100 meters from the driveway to Lakeview Colonial

At the airport side of Queenstown & everywhere was very walkable - the view from our window was so gorgeous of the Lake & mountains - also the space between rooms means no shared wall / floor /ceiling so very quiet

The staff were very helpful. We appreciated being able to check out a little later than 10 am and looked after our bags while we went out for the day.

Beautiful view of the mountains and lake from a balcony, but not so much from the room. We stayed in the king deluxe room, but it was smaller than I expected.

Very convenient for the centre of Queenstown and wonderful lake views

The room was quite cramped, bathroom very small. We felt the photos did not accurately reflect the room. Cleaning was average, bed was made very sloppily and our shower wasn't cleaned.

Was a bit of a smell in the room from previous people who stayed and TV was playing up quite a bit

Incredible views of the Remarkables and other mountains around Queenstown — from the BED and the balcony. Each adorable and comfortable unit appears to have large windows facing the view and balconies to enjoy. Plus it had great AC and heating units plus a heated blanket on the bed, towel warmer in the bathroom and a separate heater to warm the bathroom. Absolutely loved this place.

It even had a small kitchen with utensils, cook top, microwave, fridge.

The tv is not working properly. Our room was not cleaned even i put the signage on the doorknob. ☹️
