    Pros +

    • In the heart of the Queenstown town center. Close walk to the lake, shops and restaurants
    • Great location and clean. Room was very nice
    • great location directly by the lake, some of the rooms have windows to the road and can be noisy late in the evening and early morning as cars are parking and rubbish is collected . Have stayed here 3 times and this was the first tiem we were roadside. Good communal indoor and outdoor areas Excellent restaurant offerings and in particular a great breakfast buffet Knowledgeable and enthusiastic concierge staff, always helpful

    Cons -

    • Service was ok. Couldn’t find our booking on check in. Don’t get ice that I asked for. When rang and asked was not helped but put through to bar who knew nothing about it
    • check in took a bit of time due to tour grouped individuals milling about and asking questions at reception
    • Bathroom was looking like it could do with some updating but it was functional and everything worked as it should

Location was brilliant. Big twin bedroom. Comfortable bar area both inside and outside areas with friendly staff. Was very impressed when the hotel door was opened for us and bags were taken and delivered straight to our room. Very helpful concierge desk especially the young man from Brixton (sorry can’t recall his name now)

Bathroom was looking like it could do with some updating but it was functional and everything worked as it should

    Location, clean, comfy

Bath shower was just ok. Can imagine difficult for older people stepping in and out. It’s a bit narrow too.

    Great location, comfortable beds. Clean

Shower over the bath was quite small, not suitable for large people. Rooms tired but comfortable.

Very central location in front of the lake and just a short stroll to all the shopping & dining. Great customer service from the hotel team.

Bathroom facilities are on the older side, but still clean & functional. Rates were very high for what you get, but they were fully booked, as it was the summer holiday season. You’re paying 5 star rates for what will pass as a 4 star hotel elsewhere.

Great position and liked that every room appeared to have either a balcony or patio areas

No double glazing and shower over bath

The location was amazing. So close to the lake and the restaurants and bars were all walking distances-so many to choose from. We watched the sunset with a meal by the lake, it doesn’t get better than that. The girls on the front desk were amazing and friendly we were greeted with big smiles.

The pillows were too soft for me I didn’t have the best sleep.

Great location near to the lake. The beds were comfy.

Very very dated rooms. Felt like going back to the 1980s or early 1990s for both the room and bathroom decor, fittings and furnishings. Felt a bit dirty as well. There was noise from the corridor and next door easily audible.

    Only location

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay. The shower door was not closing, resulting in water flowing out onto the bathroom floor. Additionally, the carpets were dirty, visibly stained, and extremely old, which was disappointing and did not meet basic accommodation standards.More importantly, the doors between the rooms were left open. This significantly compromised my privacy and raised concerns about my personal safety. This is not something I consider acceptable under any circumstances. We checked in at 2 pm and realised that doors were open only at 8pm. Unacceptable. I am also unhappy with the response I received, which was limited to a simple apology. Given that my privacy and safety were compromised, I expected a more appropriate and meaningful response.I would appreciate this matter being taken seriously and addressed accordingly.

    The location

The rooms need a really good clean, massive dust piles built up around edges and door frames. Bathroom was growing mould, peeling paint, and also needs a really good deep clean it was quite gross. Also we’re lucky enough to have the contents of someone’s nose on the wall which we had to clean off. Very disappointing as room was not like what was shown online.

Great location close to the shops and restaurants. Great staff.

Paid for a lake view room but trees were in the way so not so much of a lake view. Wasn’t worth paying extra.
