A bit out of the way - which was totally fine - the staff are willing to drive you into town which is only a few minutes away - but why would you want to leave!

Lovely private villas in a beautiful secluded part of Queenstown.

The process for ordering dinner wasn’t very clear - we couldn’t tell if we were supposed to order UberEats directly from the iPad or if we were supposed to call reception. In the end we decided to head out for dinner each night so it wasn’t a big deal but it should be made a bit clearer.

The room itself was nice - essentially reflected the photos. The property as a whole has a nice location. The arrival experience was excellent, which I'd say was down to one particular member of staff being well trained.

Had been looking forward to this stay. Given the high rating, expectations were high. On arrival, the experience was excellent. After that, it slipped - perhaps because we never saw that person again. The view from the room was nice but could have been better if we'd had a better positioned room, so that was disappointing. Service at breakfast was very slow. For the number of staff standing around, it seems only one or two were able to prepare the food. Given that it is a small hotel, and given the cost, would expect a higher standard. In terms of the food, the cooked options were good, but the buffet was average. Would be better to not provide a buffet, rather than an average selection. Also, the communications re the "additional extras" was not particularly well executed. After being told that evening drinks were included, when we attended, we were provided with menus with prices - with no explanation as to what was included or not - which was confusing and uncomfortable. Overall it felt like the staff were very green and not particularly experienced. If you are charging five star prices, and aiming to be a five star experience, that really needs to be addressed. You cannot rely on the view alone - especially in Queenstown - to prop up your rating.

An absolutely stunning location; more so than any of the luxury lodges we've had the pleasure of staying with to date. Adding to the experience is an utterly charming team of staff; each of them prompt and polite, interested and interesting - we felt very well taken care of, indeed. Thank you to all of you at Azur for providing the highlight of our time in Queenstown.

Great property with awesome views of the mountains & the lake. Looks like it was fully renovated recently with top decore & furniture, gorgeous bathroom !Delicious breakfast & included afternoon tea & early evening canapés.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff was incredible, the views were out of this world, and the villas were immaculate.

Exceptional in every way possible. Gorgeous, private villa with stunning views across the lake to the mountains. Cosy fire to read by, comfortable bed, best shower ever, spa bath by the window. Staff incredible and made every day even better - lifts to town whenever you need, lovely afternoon tea (delivered to your villa if you want), pre-dinner drinks and canapés - all delicious and very generous. The most beautiful place to spend a few days - one of the most incredible stays we’ve had.

Service exceptional. Pick up and drop off to Queenstown centre was at your request and not specific times. Afternoon tea and pre dinner drinks are a nice touch. Breakfast was just wonderful. Anything you want and delivered fresh to your room.
