Staff was friendly.

It's not as centrally located as we thought it might be. A decent walk to the bus stop when carrying a lot of luggage. Also no vents in the room made it too hot and it was a bit noisy.

The staff was very helpful. The facilities were modern and clean, the vibe was welcoming and calm

No direct lift to my floor. I had 50 lb suitcase that had to get carried up 2 sets of stairs and walk to other end before could access lift. Shower mats were usually wet and not hung up to dry by users who paid no attention to sign, so I requested my own to use. They should just put a bath mat in every room so each guest uses their own mat

Really small rooms with little space for your bags. Price was high for what it is. Had to put own linens in binds.

Lake front, good view, reasonable close to the bus station, also close to downtown, you can walk. Staff is amazing and well help you where they can

Seams like the smoking area is blew the windows. That would be unfortunate.

Great location across from the lake, but a bit away from the crowds of the town itself. I had a car. Someone who is walking with a heavy suitcase may keep that in mind

Nothing really. I just used it as a base, while I explored various Queenstown experiences.A minor point is that you need your own locks for the lockers in the shared dorm rooms.

This was my first experience staying in a hostel. It was fun to meet new people. The facilities where clean and the kitchen area was very organized and well marked to indicated what you were required to do. I was pleasantly surprised to find a "Drying Room" with racks and clotheslines to put things like shoes and other wet items without having to waste use of a dryer in the laundry room. The staff was very helpful. The dorm room bed had good curtains for darkness and modern electronic sockets for charging and a very good lamp for reading in your bed.

I can't think of anything negative about the hostel.

The comfort is just unbeatable! The staff (in particular Ineke) were very accommodating and even assisted me in transferring to a private room while I was sick, the kitchen has everything you need and the location is right on the water!

Great location, friendly staff, and clean.

It was easy to get to from the airport by bus. Plus, there was Ben Lomond Trail right behind the hostel, so I was able to enjoy the nature! The hike was the highlight of my trip!

Great view from my window. Good spacious kitchen and lounge. Clean and good staff.

It’s little far from the city. 12-15 minutes walking distance but it’s worth walking because of beautiful views from the window.

Property was set opposite the lake in a beautiful location. It's a 10 min walk into the town which I didn't mind at all.

Need new tea towels for the kitchen! Also some more products for the bathrooms, shower gel, shampoos and conditioner goes along way when your travelling.Mattresses could do with a topper!

Location and parking saved for me with disability and room access with lift was a bonus.

No en suite and beds very high to get onto and no chair to sit on

Beds were comfy with charging ports and curtains, big kitchen area, and big showers with a lot of sink space

Not enough parking and street parking fills up really quickly; my room didn't have under-bed secure storage and the storage we were given was impeded by the bed layout so I couldn't lock up any of my things

Clean, nice easy lakeside stroll into town. Fully equipped kitchen & lounge. Comfortable beds. Value for money.

Not soundproof and could constantly hear people’s footsteps on the corridor even though I booked a room on my own. Not the best value for money.
