Nothing to like about

No staff attending to my needs

Great location close to the airport and great facility for up to 4 people.

I got a sperate bed which was free of charge, but the mattress was so thin I was latterly on top of the metal. The other double beds were great so if you are with only 4 people you are OK.

The cleaning products dishwashing pad was very old the toilet seat was loose and there was no tv remote upstairs and the microwave plate didn't really fit properly

AVOID - Blood stains on sheets and bad service

Possibly the worst stay we've had in a very long time anywhere, the place smelled bad, the dishware was not clean, one room did not have a functioning light and worst of all bed sheets on two of the beds had big blood stains on them, which is a major health hazard. It took two in-person requests over two days to get them to provide fresh clean sheets (though even finding staff to seek assistance from was difficult as they never seemed to be around). The first request was simply not followed up on. They bizarrely tried to claim we had refused fresh sheets (which makes no sense!), they then blamed the company that cleans the sheets for doing a bad job (before recanting that), even though their staff should never have put dirty sheets on a bed in the first place (afterwards simultaneously claiming their staff had done nothing wrong but also one had been fired for bad performance?). In following up with management after the trip to try and provide friendly but frank feedback for improvement, they have not taken our complaints seriously, instead seeking to blame us for the stains (despite us removing the sheets from the beds on discovery of the stains and not using them, as any normal person would, while awaiting replacements). This is simply not the quality one should expect from an accommodation provider claiming to be 4 star and charging NZD 800 a night. Do not stay here.

Busy road but good food options across and nearby.Con=mfortable, well equipped, clean and economical.

Was perfect for my work stay in Queenstown. For what I want and need when working in Queenstown this was perfect and a great price.

I don't need SkyTV, a smart tv or chromecast would have been fine.

Good value and close to the airport. Had full kitchen and laundry though we didn't need it

The location

No one was there to meet us even though it was the middle of the afternoon. There was a notice saying only contact if fire or emergency - if you call for other reason there is a $500 fine. Electric kettle leaked and the base needed drying before it could be used. A half drunk can of redbull was left in the fridge.

Very good location

Road works made it difficult to see the entrance. Not your fault. No negatives with the accommodation.

It's comfortable, and near to mcdonalds and gasoline station.

The television could not connect to the wifi. And the wifi's connection is low.

The location was okay.The washer and dryer was helpful.

Quite dated in general. Unable to call someone with concerns and emails took a bit to be answered. The apartment was so cold! No heat had been turned on prior to our arrival (other places had the heat on for us) and there was no heat source for the upstairs bedroom. The heating pad only worked on side of the bed and there were no extra blankets. My daughter slept in the bed with multiple layers of clothing while I slept downstairs on the couch where there was heat but had to use a towel for cover. The second night was better as we had the heat on all day and they did bring in a portable heater for the bedroom and changed the heating pads to ones that worked. The toilet only worked with full flush.

Great showers and comfortable beds.

Sky remote only 1/2 worked, broken toilet door handle, inadequate cutlery - why only supply 4 forks when there were more of us? - looks like the unit needs a bit of TLC (warped kitchen joinery, food splatter marks on the walls).

The hassle with booking.com not accepting credit card and not responding to emails, plus not being able to contact Gateway on phone.

Location - brilliant for our purposes, which is why we are returning guests.Bed - also comfortable and clean, lovely crisp linen.Bathroom - dated, with some moisture damage and wear and tear, but clean, which is all we need.Liked the electric blankets and the additional duvet provided.Lovely kitchen and facilities.Nice and private with front and back 'gardens', fully fenced and private.Car park right next to unit.

Smart TV didn't link to wifi.Bedside lamp didn't work in main bedroom.Would like bigger glasses for water (and wine) /matching cutlery and crockery.Can see moisture damage and flaking along some of the skirting boards and bathroom (didn't putus off from staying again though)

The apartment had everything that we needed. Beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean. Was close to the shops and airport if needed.

We stayed for 3 nights and never saw any management or could talk to any staff about a few things that were not working in the apartment. The bathroom was very small. We had an apartment that faced the road, and the noise of the traffic was continuous.
