    Pros +

    • Great service , facility and food
    • I liked the location and the value and the breakfast
    • The breakfast selection was excellent - much more than expected.

    Cons -

    • I didn't like that the hotel is a bit old and needs renewal but overall its ok
    • Waze didn't have the proper name for the hotel. We had a very difficult time finding it. I think the pool could have opened earlier. I couldn't take advantage of it.
    • Unfortunately, the maintenance of the hotel was very poor, which is a shame because the property has a lot of potential. Several wooden doors were broken and scratched at the bottom, and from the swimming pool it was easy to notice that the façade of the building was in need of major repairs, including several broken windows. The rugs in the lobby were old and visibly worn from years of being stepped on with wet feet.Another unpleasant detail was that staff smoked inside the cleaning closet right in front of our room, so the cigarette smell often reached us, and we even saw them smoking there. Reception service was both slow and unhelpful. On one occasion, I was verbally attacked by another guest who even threatened physical aggression to cut ahead of me in line, yet the receptionist simply stood by and did not call security.Breakfast was also disappointing. The pastries were dry, the scrambled eggs were inedible, and although breakfast was supposed to start at 7:30 am, by 8:00 am many trays were already empty and not refilled. The waiting staff behaved unprofessionally, joking and playing around with each other instead of focusing on their duties, such as refilling trays and cleaning tables.During our three-night, four-day stay, our toilet was never cleaned, and the shower’s sliding door constantly came off its tracks because the rails were broken.

I must admit the location is excellent, close to many important attractions. However, this does not make up for the overall disappointing experience we had at Brown Red Sea, especially considering the price we paid.

The location was the only redeeming quality.

The bathroom had mold in the shower and the bathroom door was rotten. I paid extra for a room with a terrace but the “terrace” was on the ground floor facing the parking lot. It was unusable.

Clean large room, friendly professional staff. Pool big and pleasant.Elevators efficient.

Parking difficult, occasionally no room on site.No bar for drinks, that would make the hotel more attractive and profitable.Long way from the beach, shuttles would help

All rooms have doors leading to adjoining rooms.Keys to all rooms didn't work properly. The door to my room needed to be slammed with force (and much noise) to be closed.I received a room for disabled guests which was uncomfortable.Draining at the bathroom was bad, what caused a small flood. There was nowhere to buy water during the weekend (even the vending machine was almost empty).

The hospitality. There are a ton of hotels in Eilat, but the customer service and hospitality was truly outstanding. Every staff member was kind, thoughtful, and knowledge. The buffet is a must! I will definitely be back.

    location

the Rooms are not as seen in Booking pictures, this is a scamI was in Eilat in one of the hottest days and got a room where the air-condition was not working.the answer I got from the staff was that the hotel is fully booked, after doing some noise I got different room where the air-condition is working.he is my story so others can understand what I have went:I did a mistake and put in the waze the wrong Brown hotel.when reaching to the wrong Hotel I shared my ID and did Check-in (don't know how this can happen if I am not registered to the Hotel), after some time the Lobi stuff contact me and told me that she did a mistake and I need to evacuate the Room as its belong to other guist. I did as I was told.the Lobi stuff told me to go to the other Brown Hotel and they will transfer my payment to the other Hotel.while reaching the right Brown Hotel I did the check in and got a room.the room didn't look as seen in Booking pictures, in addition the Lobby stuff called me to get refund as I paid by Booking and what I paid in the first Brown Hotel is in addition.of course they couldn't refund me and asked me to go back to the first Brown Hotel to get Refund.going back to the room I got with no working Air-condition and which doesn't look like seen in Booking pictures, I have complained to the stuff the what they could do is find another room (even when they say the Hotel is fully booked), to be honest the gave me voucher to Dinner (which I have not used) + sent some drinks and snake to my Room.while going to the first Brown Hotel to get Refund the stuff did Refund and I have requested to get Recept, the answer I got is that they can't as the Receipt is on the room where other stuff are there. I needed to argue with the stuff that I as Guest need to get receipt for such transaction to have proof in my hand. eventually after some time they found the way to issue the Receipt I wanted.

Great room. The pool is really nice, with lots of beds to lay down and read a book. Private parking. Location wise Nearby the center so can walk also to many places and restaurants and the mall.

The room is OK, although too dark at night and the bathroom not very highly kept.

No one answered the phone for consecutive two days, including before arrival. Upon arrival we told the reception about this, and the answer was: I was during break. (for two days?????)

One aspect we did appreciate was that the hotel is pet-friendly, which is a plus for travelers with animals.

My recent stay at the Brown Red Sea in Eilat had the potential to be enjoyable, but unfortunately, the entire experience was completely soured by the appalling behavior of the staff and operational issues. From the outset, the parking attendants were exceptionally rude. There seemed to be a policy of selectively allowing cars into the hotel parking area, which was frustrating. The main issue stemmed from the parking attendant stationed in the cabin. His behavior was unprofessional and frankly, offensive. He spoke to guests, including myself and other adults, in an incredibly disrespectful and overly familiar manner, as if speaking to his friends rather than paying hotel guests. There was a complete lack of basic politeness or service orientation. This poor service unfortunately extended to the reception desk as well. Most of the receptionists we interacted with were also quite rude and unhelpful, lacking the welcoming attitude one expects at a hotel. The only positive exception was a Russian-speaking girl at the reception who was polite and professional – a stark contrast to her colleagues. Adding to the frustration, we experienced persistent problems with our room key, which repeatedly stopped working. This meant we had to return to the reception desk almost every time we came back to the room just to get a new key reactivated – a significant and unnecessary hassle.Dealing with such rudeness from multiple staff touchpoints, coupled with basic operational failures like the key cards, is unacceptable. It wasn't just a minor inconvenience; it was a constant source of frustration that set a terrible tone for the stay and made us feel unwelcome and undervalued as guests. However, ultimately, no matter how nice other parts of the hotel might be, the terrible experience with both the staff and the recurring key issues completely smashed the whole experience for us.

The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff was friendly. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere at night.

The breakfast could have had more variety, and the coffee wasn’t great. The air conditioning was not great, only offered cold/off options without anything in between. The gym seemed neglected and unmaintained.

    7DenysPosted on: 4-5-2025

Good for its price, close to the city center and overall the place looks good.

We have asked for a two-bed room and have been given a one-bed with a terrible couch with suite class improvement and no extra pay. No reason for this. The room wasn't very clean - there was crumbs in the sofa and some hair on the toilet. Some staff barely spoke any Hebrew or English.

    7AdelPosted on: 3-26-2025

The breakfast was very good.A lot of variety to choose.

I requested for a single bed for each room because i reserved 9 rooms for 20 person but only 3 rooms got a single bed.

    1) One dinner was canceled. After reception call we got voucher to the dinner in the restaurant in 20 minutes by walk. But this restaurant didn't have smorgasbord. It was good but without choice.2)The room lock was partially defective. Stuff explained we should turn door handle clockwise, pass the key and turn door handle opposite. Every time it required 2-3 trials.

    Location

Hygiene is not so good. And the dinner to the restaurant was not well explained, also we almost don’t have option on food which was not so delicious.Otherwise it would have been nice to give us the same dinner we had on our check in day.
