    Pros +

    • Room was large & comfortable. Staff was great. Great dining, pool & casual area. Set next to the desert.
    • The view from the Dune House was incredible. Khadija made our stay so comfortable and the food she prepared was extraordinary. It was the highlight of our trip to Morocco.
    • Cool little hotel nestled just in front of the Sahara desert is pure bliss in such a hot environment the pool was clean and refreshing and the stand out staff member was Yusuf (unsure of spelling) he made our stay fabulous remembering both our names and nothing was a problem he always had a smile and answered our many questions and his English was very good. If all staff members were like this man in Morocco - happy days. Kasbah Mohayut one day i hopefully will come back with more family members.

    Cons -

    • A bit on the out skirts of Hassilabied and Merzouga
    • Nothing it was all great
    • Booked a stay in the desert with the Hotel. They promised something (camp in dunes) which was not delivered (got camp on the border of the desert). After some argueing we got driven to a proper camp, but we missed the sunset and didn't get a breakfast in the camp

A stunning Hotel in the wild of Morocco. From reception to the pool through the restaurant and into the rooms everything is authentic and wonderful.

The property and facilities were are kept very well and are clean. Great views from the top terrace. A lot of space to sit around in the garden and around the pool. The staff is really helpful and kind.

In the communications before the arrival it seemed like the (additionally booked) desert camp was far away in the desert, while it’s only a few meters into the dunes. It was not a problem, but came as a surprise.

The staff were really nice and helpful. Next looking hotel internally

Weak WiFi in the rooms. Strong WiFi in the public spaces. Breakfast was ok.

The pool areas lovely and the rooms were clean and comfortable and traditional decor. Exceptional stay and camel ride into the desert for sunset and dinner.

I liked how accommodating the staff was and how easily accessible the hotel was. We took the bus from fez and walked from the nearest village to the hotel and got an early check in. We arrived at 6am and took a nap and then had a late breakfast. Everything was perfect and we extended our stay for one more night to enjoy the sun. They also offer a lot of activities and good lunch and dinner. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our time at the hotel.

The WiFi didn't work in the room but that's ok I watched TikTok's at the pool in a sun bed.

Nice location in front of the dunes, big rooms

Breakfast didn’t had any taste and was not fresh, it got the feeling to be a ghost hotel, not a lot of ambiance, super small pool

The property is wonderful, super clean, perfectly located. The rooms are very big! It was nice to enjoy the pool during the day. Also the hotel offer a lot of desert activities. Most importantly, the manager and the staff are amazing.

The location was excellent and the grounds were uniquely beautiful. It was only a 2 minute walk to the dunes and there were great food options in Hassilabied, only a 5 minute drive away. Our "family room" was large and comfortable.

When we were there, the hotel restaurant only offered a fixed menu option which wasn't great for our young family. We opted to eat dinner at an outside restaurant instead, but the hotel breakfast was good.

Location and size of room was great but condition of the accommodation needs updating and repair. Dining room staff were very friendly but front entrance staff were indifferent and seemed to lack interest in customer service. No information was received that you needed to hand in your room key to get housekeeping service. Court yard gardens were nice.

Rooms are big and very good quality. Staff is excellent, beds are huge and very comfortable. Our rooms were at the very edge of the sand dunes, amazing experience. We received breakfast near our rooms, before the official hours to be able to go birding early. Super staff.

    No complains.

We spent one evening here, and it was wonderful. We got a lovely big room in another building next to the big kasbah called 'the dune house', very pretty. The owner was waiting for us to give a tour of the house and was very welcoming. The dinner offered in the hotel was very good. We got to do stargazing with binoculars and laser while the owner told us about all the stars and how the nomads used them to navigate, very interesting. The breakfast the next morning was just lovely with a superb view. Would totally recommend, and especially the stargazing!!

The riad is nice, it's localized right next to the dunes. We stayed in the dunes house. Beautiful views! Rooms are nice and very clean. Bed was huge and very comfortable. The pool area is nice. So is the terrace. Staff was really welcoming, nice and helpful. Breakfast was a buffet.

Everything truly fabulous. The decor, the location, the staff, the restaurant. Just amazing. Right on the edge of the Sahara. A very memorable experience. I spent alot of time choosing which hotel we would stay in and I am really glad of the choice I made.

    Nothing. Having to leave!

A nicely furnished and comfortable kasbah next to the sand dunes. Excellent food.

I ended up choosing this place after have booked an activity at the desert where the meeting point would be in this hotel and I couldn't be happier with my whole experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure every need was met. They even came to pick us up at the bus and arranged a taxi to the airport for our return flight. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and designed with both good taste and comfort. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details, like the comfortable mattresses, the good quality linens and towels. The outstanding breakfas truly made mornings enjoyable and the dinner was pleasing — the meals were both tasty and beautifully presented. The pool area felt like an oasis, perfect for relaxation on chaise longe with beach towels available for free. I've been in many places across Morocco and I would definitely recommend this place.

The staff were helpful and flexible (including accommodating early check-in after a desert camp night). We enjoyed the pool and the ability to essentially walk out of the kasbah into the dunes.

It would have been great if the windows had screens. Wifi could be stronger (gets weak in certain areas/with a lot of users).
