Hotel Tomboctou

Love that there was COLD BEER and buffet breakfast with really great options, and excellent restaurant on site. Underground, free and safe parking. We were climbing in the gorge and this place was a perfect retreat after a long day.

This hotel is a fabulous gem. Beautiful rooms with comfortable pillow and beds, a lovely pool and an excellent restaurant. The breakfast is delicious and the dinner Tajines the best that we had in all of Morocco. Highly recomended!

The shower recess leaked water onto the floor but otherwise no issues.

Unique & fascinating Kasbah. Loved exploring the art, historical documents on display & the panoramic view from the roof. We stayed in the tower so had wonderful light all around.Buffet breakfast was a highlight plus having drinks around the pool was welcome. Loved all the signage in multiple language & the recycling system.

Be careful sitting on the edge of the pool - my husband got a mild chlorine burn on his legs.

The room os extremely small in size. Bathroom is too small. No TV. The bed is light steel.

Breakfast.

We were really happy to stay here. Felt very welcome right from the start. The House is beautiful and the people working here were so nice and friendly. There are parking spots available, which is good too. We had dinner in the Restaurant, because there were many vegan options. It was very tasty. Would love to stay here again in the future.

A lovely old kasbah with lots of history remodelled into a beautiful hotel. Extremely quiet and very comfortable. Thoughtful and attentive staff served us a lovely dinner and possibly the best breakfast buffet during our time in Morocco.

Lovely peaceful riad with great food, helpful staff, and functional room with insect screens on windows and parking. Nice to be able to order a beer or wine by the pool after an energetic walk in the gorges.

Bed was small and bit too hard.

Very cozy, authentic hotel looks like local castle. Rooms clean, good wi-fi. Nice garden with swimming pool. The is no problem with parking place. They offer possibility of diner. Good breakfast in nice traditional surrounding.

The place, it's impressive!! Decoration, and style of the hotel makes you feel that you go back to the time of the explorers of Africa. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and quiet, with good wifi, and amazing breakfast. The owner it's heavily involved in the restoration of the kasbahs of the area, so can give you a lot of hints and information about the area!
