The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo

We appreciate the free transport service to town and back. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our day trip driver, Xiao Huang, doubled up as a tour guide and went out of her way to introduce the sights of YangShuo. Very good! The food at the restaurant is also very tasty.

The recreation room was bit dated, could be better maintained.

The hotel is beautiful. Located 5 min drive from city center, but still in a quiet place. Hotel operates a free shuttle to city center. Beautiful large rooms. Breakfast was great! Stuff super friendly and helpful.

Our 4-night stay with two teenagers was absolutely wonderful. The complimentary breakfast, paired with an incredible view, was truly over the top. The connecting rooms were spacious, spotless, and exceeded our expectations in every way. If we ever return to the area, we’ll definitely be staying at The Bamboo Leaf again.Bonus: The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our experience even more memorable. We also rented electric scooters for two days in a row, which turned out to be the highlight of our stay! It was such a cool and fun way to roam around this beautiful part of rural China.

Honestly, there wasn’t much we didn’t like! Everything came together to create a truly unforgettable experience.

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable, the frontdesk ladies were very efficient and helpful with all our requests. The restaurant offers very good food and peaceful seating while a bit pricey. The swimming pool is nice.

BF was ok, and location was ok too but they provide shuttle to market which is 15 mins drive. I liked the room and its very serene place and very friendly staff.

Could have some oriental food in the menu.

The best restaurant in whole China for people who crave proper western food. The hotel also offers a very relaxing pool and all services you can think of. If you forgot something they‘ll provide you!

Our favourite hotel on our 3 week trip. Lovely rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff will also book day trips and massages. I was upgraded to a room with a bath which I loved - thank you :-)Easy drop off in to or from town, but you can also walk in around 20 minutes.

It is a bit further out of the city but it was still very convenient location.

It’s is quite and calm area and 10 minutes walking from the Boat Pier after finishing Guilin to Yangshuo Cruise. Staff is super courteous and English speaking. Night staff warmed up food for us at 11 pm and he insisted that he will bring food to our room as we would be tired. Food was awesome, all fresh and super delicious.

The views are undoubtedly beautiful, though somewhat marred by the presence of unconstructed buildings in front of it. The staff was very helpful and attentive, which added to the overall experience. The room itself was extremely comfortable, offering a great space to relax.Overall, it’s a good choice for those prioritizing tranquility and comfort.

The location, while peaceful and ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, is a bit far from Yangshuo village, which might be inconvenient for travelers wanting easier access to town. Lastly, I found it slightly overpriced for the value provided, considering the mentioned drawbacks.

Nice clean room. Good view from the room. Quiet location. Helpful staff that speaks English. Some distances away from the town center but they provided shuttle to town for us.

We really liked the Bamboo Leaf Hotel and the staff, especially Vivianne who helped us with booking tours and borrowing scooters and bikes. She is super friendly, kind, caring, efficient and speaks excellent English which helped us so much! The whole staff was very friendly and helped look after all our needs! We would highly recommend this beautiful, clean, well-designed high-end hotell for the value, incredible service and mostly the delightful staff working here! We would love to stay again if our travels bring us to Yangshuo! Thank you so much from 2 happy Canadians! ,???

We liked everything!

This was the best hotel in China we have stayed in.You can see that the staff is very motivated and does their best to let you have a great time.They arranged great tours for us and gave us valuable information about what we should do.The rooms were fantastic, large and modern. Very clean as well, nothing to complain about.Breakfast was also awesome, great western options - also the restaurant was a rescue for us because in Yangshuo you can’t find any western food except McDonald’s.We would definitely recommend this property to everyone!

Only the location is a bit far from the city, but this was not a problem at all because you can rent a scooter for only 60 RMB or even take the free shuttle from the hotel whenever you need. Probably only the Light show they recommended to us for 280 RMB was not worth it the money (very kitschy, bad artists and less than 1 hour of duration).

Great hotel. We really appreciated the restaurant having a buffet breakfast and a menu breakfast which alternated while we were there. Also we appreciated the scooter rental recommendation just nearby! Beautiful interior design in the room and great bathroom.

Quiet place

Location is too remote. Not accessible to town except by shuttle bus. Hotel restaurant offers only western foods Limited choice of cuisines in a homestay kind of place next door.

Clean and modern conveniences. Staff was very friendly.
