Yangshuo River View Hotel

Really nice hotel with a good restaurant at downstairs. The location is perfect as it is a quiet part of the town (right beside the river), but still only a couple of min walking from downtown. The staff is super-kind and helpful.

Good location from the pier of the Li river and to the west street.There was an insect repellent spray in the room. Ancient Chinese styled interior and exterior.

There was no refrigerator.

Low cold water pressure due to the restaurant below. And beds were a little uncomfortable

Location and building are amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They told us the hotel has been built inside a very ancient house, which is why it doesn't have a lift. Keep this in mind if you travel heavy. The interior design was lovely, especially the tea table by the window.It's also walk distance from the pier if u took the cruise from Guilin. And very near the town center. So super convenient location.

Near to West Street; opposite the Li River, nice room.

Rate does not include breakfast. No lift in the hotel (not a problem for us), those with big luggage & old folks may have difficulties.

Nice location and the view is fantastic. The restaurant downstairs is very popular.

Water pressure for shower is not strong.

Could have not picked a more beautiful location! And the staff were extremely helpful.Their English was fantastic. And an attached restaurant! Bonus.Only problem would be if you had mobility issues.No elevators,I managed only just going up to the second floor, but considering all the other facilities and location, I would definitely do it again ?

One lady in the group of 3 found the mattress too hard.

I really like that it's a little away from the crowd, close to the river.

Fortunately, our room is situated on the second floor, which is beneficial for me due to my knee issue, especially since there is no elevator available.

This is a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Our bedroom had windows on 2 sides, one with balcony overlooking the adjacent square with river and mountain views, the second with Chinese tea seating area. It was fun sharing in the bustle of the restaurant downstairs which spills onto the pavement. The staff are really friendly and helpful, finding us fresh milk, ice etc and booking tickets.

When we came down for breakfast it was cleaning day and restaurant was in midst of thorough clean. In 30 mins it was orderly and we had breakfast, but it would have been helpful if we had been told, so we could time things differently.

Great restaurant, helpful and friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Location is perfect.

The street sometimes get noisy at night

Location was fantastic as well as view from room. Food at restraunt was excellent. Front desk were excellent in organising trips.

Great location, near the pier, West Street, local farmers market, lots of local cafes/restaurants. Approachable, friendly and helpful staff…. With sightseeing, taxis, excursions and booking Liu San Jie. Set meal at the hotel restaurant was delicious and good value too.

The shower has low pressure, a bit difficult to regulate the water temperature, otherwise, fantastic stay.

Excellent and cheap food served at busy restaurant in ground floor, a bit noisy at times. Staff very helpful and flexible. Good position close to tourist hub but not in the main chaos of West Street.

Yangshuo on a festival day was massively overcrowded with e-scooters parked everywhere and big traffic jams. Make sure you book trips and taxi's in advance- all the available tickets for rafting were gone before lunchtime.

Excellent! It’s value for money and some! Seriously, the welcome from the team is absolutely wonderful and in near perfect English too! They introduce themselves and yes, I was even greeted by first name in the morning as I arrived for breakfast, nice! Kevin was very helpful, Yawen was delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful! The food served in their corner located restaurant was utterly delicious and it’s very popular, reserve when you arrive or ahead! Breakfast was wholesome and reasonable at around ¥400 for a nice coffee and scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage plus toast, preserves, fresh fruit too, served with a smile, great!!If I were to be critical, the river view rooms are exactly what they say, they overlook the river however, the trees in full bloom rather block this view! It didn’t detract from my stay in any way, but perhaps the term river/promenade side might lessen the disappointment if one was expecting to see the river! For winter I believe the view will be spectacular as the river swells etc.There ya go, don’t hesitate, book the room and enjoy Yangshuo

Location is exceptional, staff attentive, restaurant downstairs provides delicious food. We spent 2 great days in hotel, and visited a lot of beautiful places around.

The Hotel is an old building but nicely renovated. You have to pass through the restaurant to reach the reception. The restaurant was rather popular and crowded and the food was good. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the West Road which is a popular tourists street. A couple of the receptionists could speak English well so communication was not a problem. The river is just across the Hotel and you could see nice sunrise if you wake up on time to catch it.

Have to get use to the water pressure if you stay all the way up to the 4th floor. No lifts, so need to walk up.
