Hilton Zhongshan Downtown

Location is excellent. Room is spacious and clean. Fantastic breakfast.

Spacious and well appointed room. High quality scales. Good breakfast. Adequate executive lounge.

Lacking in international electrical outlets, especially on one side of the bed. Need more USB and USBC connectors. Clothing hooks in washroom area. Dressing gowns too small. No coffee maker. Smoked salmon would be a nice addition to breakfast. HK milk tea can be improved.

The hotel is clean,bed is comfortable and breakfast has variety of food selection international and Chinese.. it's also relatively not far away from the airport and there are near by restaurants and a mall.

The front desk clerk insisted to take an incidental deposit of entire room stay although I have clarified to him that it was pre agreed that I should only pay 500 Yuan ..not until I have demonstrated this to him via my booking.com correspondences with the hotel then he changed his mind and agreed to waive off the security deposit payment, though I was welling to pay 500 as agreed.. we were Group of 4 and each one of us was charged a security deposit differently although our bookings were pretty much identical.. there should be a clear clause which would clarify how much would the person pay for security rather than leaving it to the front desk staff to decide..

Toilet at lobby need room card to access. Since I had checked out inthe morning and only returned to collect my luggage I didn't has card to assess to the Toilet at ground level. However staffs is helpful to lend us her pass.

Great restaurants, gym and service

the hospitality services of the staff is excellent. I particularly like to praise the warm and intimate services of the staff Summer who welcome us into the hotel. She helped us a lot in particularly helping us to get a taxi and reserved a seat for us to enjoy the live performance at the Horizon Bar. She also advised us to go to the top floor to have a Panasonic view of the city. Added bonus is that we have a FULL Moon to share with on the white Valentines. The diligence services of the front desk staff Hin also deserved our prasse.Overall, the service is excellent despite that the hotel wasn't a new one.

Nothing except that the fridge wasn't cold enough and that there were no cold drinks when we needed in the middle of the night.

Overall are good but not up to Hilton name standard partly because the aging of the hotel built over 20 years? Foot quality are under my expectation, overall I am happy during my stay and can see staffs are trying their best and very nice and helping that I must admit

Aging and outdated design and features

The property was lovely and clean. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious for our family of three. We booked the deal with dinner and breakfast included and the food was really good quality. The evening that we attended was a seafood buffet night and nothing ran out, everything was fresh and there was no shortage of beer, wine and soft drinks. There was live music courtesy of two singers and they were so good! What made the stay incredible was the service from all of the staff including Vicky at check in (who allowed us to have our room three hours early!) to the staff at the buffet restaurant. Everyone was so helpful and well mannered. We were even sent complimentary fruit! We will definitely stay here again.

We booked the room as a family of three but there were only two bathrobes, two pairs of slippers and two large bath towels. The TV only showed CCTV channels so nothing interesting to watch if you can’t speak Chinese. The TV was also quite old and had no Bluetooth so we were unable to watch anything transferred from our mobile phones and the picture on the screen was very grainy.

Convenient location.

The a/c would turned off when we are not in the room. The air smelled old upon entrance.

The location, the staff, and the facilities.My special thanks to Jessie, she works in the front desk. The morning we arrived, she helped us to check in. Her service and customer service were excellent.

Room was upgraded & gotten a bigger room. Though it’s nice & spacious the facility is a bit dated.

Property is a bit old & dated. The front office staff are not top notch as expected of a 5 star hotel.

This is the best Hilton hotel I have ever stayed since 1990s. Central location and excellent facilities and best value.

Room is large, hotel is we'll kept. Beds are comfortable although not the best from what I've tried in china. Locations is good if you want to be in the middle of town. Pool is great for sports swimming with lanes included.

Shower has no pressure Very busy and a lot of movement all day Bar is not nice Breakfast was good but not great (service was great though)

Clean, convenient, friendly staff, quick check in process

The buffet breakfast was rather bland and typical.

The hotel is clean. The rooms are spacious. Location is perfect.

Breakfast have a smaller selection of food compared to other hotels of the same level that I have visited in China.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, comfy room and bed, I was able to work remotely at the room, quiet and peaceful night.

During checkout I was given wrong room bill and invoice. After a while this was corrected and everything is OK.

There was even nopthing for the Western people, almost no selection of cheese, no olive, no tomato souce, no humus, etc.
