Pros +
- Good location, walkable to the beach and to restaurants [amazing Vietnamese La Baie D'Along on the main road] and a supermarket. Slightly tucked away so sheltered from the hustle bustle of the city. Comfortable rooms around a central courtyard with tables/seating and with a lovely pool to the side. Great roof top restaurant with comfortable seating and an area to watch football! Seemed to be some long term guests - maybe university exchange students? Had a lovely ambience. Staff very helpful with local information and arranging airport taxi.
Cons -
- Because of the central courtyard there was quite a lot of noise from other guests - only a problem when trying to sleep. The bathroom door did not have a handle so couldn't be closed, and the bathroom floor was permanently wet due to a leak. We did point these out and the staff were very apologetic and did try and fix it - hopefully sorted for the next guests. Our friend's had a problem with their door not opening and then not locking - again to be sorted, but not during our stay. Minor issues without which we would have had a perfect stay.
