Bai Dinh Garden Resort & Spa

The room was excellent, spacious and comfortable. The staff was wonderful specially Ms Uyen, Ms Nga and Ms Duyen, very sweet young women who helped us and made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was great and had many different options. We rented a motorcycle from the hotel at a very good value and were able to get to all the tourist sights easily.

Uyen, Giang, and Nga were very service oriented and helped provide an excellent atmosphere at the hotel during both dinner and breakfast. They were attentive to our needs and gave us great tips to explore the area along with providing a friendly environment.

The bathroom was a bit small but manageable.

The resort has a beautifully decorated garden that really comes alive in the evening, lit with soft lights and creating a lovely community-like atmosphere. It felt intimate and peaceful—like a small village gathering each night.The staff were a standout. They were incredibly friendly and went beyond typical hospitality. One of the most heartwarming moments was seeing how the team interacted with our little daughter—holding her, playing with her, and making her laugh. That kind of genuine care is rare and deserves recognition.The pool was fresh, clean, and the perfect place to cool off during the hot afternoons. Not too crowded, and very well maintained.Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable for a short stay. It was on the smaller side, but functional and cosy.A very special thank you to the driver who took us around the area. He was kind, patient, and very helpful—especially when I accidentally lost my wallet during a ride. With his help and the kindness of nearby locals, we found it untouched in a nearby house, where the residents had been holding onto it, waiting for the owner to return. This experience reminded us of the deep honesty and warmth of the Vietnamese people.

The resort is somewhat isolated and far from the main attractions. You’ll likely need a driver (thankfully, theirs is excellent) to get around comfortably.Breakfast options were quite limited, and the lack of an indoor dining area made it uncomfortable to eat in the heat. Some shaded or cooled options would enhance the experience.The overall food quality during our stay was underwhelming. A bit more attention to flavour and freshness would go a long way in matching the rest of the resort’s charm.Unfortunately, the spa did not live up to expectations. The room smelled of mould, was small, and lacked the atmosphere and design one would associate with a relaxing spa. It felt more like a basic street-side massage room than part of a boutique resort. Improving this area could significantly raise the guest experience.

Beautiful grounds and well kept pool. Extremely helpful staff especially Thai who went above and beyond. Nice restaurant with good buffet breakfast and tasty food available to order all day. Walking distance to Bai Dinh; 25 minute taxi ride to Ninh Binh. Basic hotel bikes available to borrow. Enjoyed a great full body massage in the hotel.

Only 8 Sun loungers available around the pool

Very clean, good facility, and quiet location but a bit far from town. It is close to Trang an and Bai Dinh. Staff are very kind and helpful. Overall, highly recommended.

Our stay here was wonderful! A calm oasis between the weeks travelling. Big shout out to Thai for making my birthday ? extra special and for just being a fantastic host. The massage was nice although it differs from a Weston approach, placement of towels not leaving much to hide behind and taking phone calls during the massage. Free bike hire, don’t miss the pagoda, once you navigate the convoluted car park, we did option 2. Lease get some more sun beds, 8 is just not enough.

Location a long way from anywhere. Food under-whelming. This accommodation would possibly be OK if it was at a much cheaper rate, but for a small increase in price, much better options are available and in better locations.

Lovely, relaxing stay at Bai Dinh. Staff were super friendly. Always on hand to arrange trips, answer any questions and serve delicious food and drinks.

Excellent customer service. Helpful staff, a very clean and beautiful hotel. The hotel also arranged for our transfer back to Hanoi at cost price.

Our recent stay at Dai Binh Garden Resort and Spa was nothing short of exceptional. We spent a couple of nights in one of their charming little houses, which had a delightful loft where our children slept—an arrangement they absolutely loved! The house itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and showcased great attention to detail that made us feel right at home.The on-site restaurant met our culinary needs. On our first night, the staff noticed a bit of a shortage in vegetarian options without us having to mention it. To our pleasant surprise, they ensured that the following day brought a variety of vegetarian dishes. This level of attentiveness truly exemplified their commitment to customer satisfaction.Transportation was seamlessly organised for us, whisking us to and from our previous accommodation in Hanoi. Additionally, they arranged an incredible full-day trip to the Mua Caves, the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, and a breathtaking three-hour boat trip in Trang An. Our tour guide, Tracey, was absolutely amazing—engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the rich history and culture of the region. She even took the time to find us a top-notch restaurant for lunch, and we were blown away by the exquisite food!One of the highlights of our visit was the magical night trip to the nearby pagoda complex, which is the largest in Vietnam—Bái Đính Pagoda. The resort organised our transportation in a fun electric car, making the short journey fun. Our personal tour at the pagoda was a privilege, allowing us to soak in the beauty and significance of this spiritual site.Overall, we cannot express enough gratitude to Dai Binh Garden Resort and Spa and our wonderful guide Tracey for making our stay so memorable. From the stunning accommodations to the attentive service and fascinating excursions, we felt truly taken care of.

Breakfast was nice. Lots of variety in salads, Fruits, Cakes. Served yummy rice roles and sushi. Fresh omlets were tasty. Hot nuddles and fried rice was tasty. Just felt that they lack on serving hot coffee as its served with cold milk. We are use to having hot coffee from machine with freshly brewed beans and that's only thing that was lacking otherwise it was amazing breakfast.

the room had a strong, unpleasant odor that made it very uncomfortable to relax or sleep. It smelled like mold or mildew, which suggested poor maintenance or ventilation.Bit far away from all attraction and breakfast was options very limited.

Decoration should be renovated

The property is surrounded by greenery, it is a peaceful oasis in the country side. The staff were so nice and helpful. I loved the duplex room, the beds were comfy. The tour organizer was so caring, she organized a night tour at the bai Dinh pagoda which was just breathtaking at night.

There nothing that I did not like

Beautiful property, so tranquil and full of charm. Staff were very attentive and helpful in booking night tours. The food was nothing short of amazing and the restaurant offered plenty of options!The pool was perfect after a long day of travel and the free tea time with snacks was lovely.

Extra Courteous Staff. Always willing to help at any hour. Quick to make arrangements for taxi, site-seeing as per our needs. They remembered exactly what we liked in the F&B and we didn't have to remind them about our breakfast needs (which were met to the T).

There was nothing to dislike. It is a small boutique property that addressed ALL our needs. Safe. Reasonable. Right next to the Pagoda/Stupa (whose wall touches their boundary)
