Tam Coc Luxury Homestay

Located amongst an attractive garden and nestled right in amongst the karsts and rainforest, Luxury Homestay was ideal for a peaceful stay only a ten minute walk from noisy Tam Coc. The family running it are attentive and the complimentary breakfast was tasty with good options. Aircon was quiet, mosquito nets in place around the comfortable bed. Having a pool was a bonus. Free bike rental available.

Pool loungers a little uncomfortable but this is only a detail.

I honestly cannot recommend this accommodation enough, it has been our favourite in the whole of Vietnam. The family that run it honestly cannot do enough for you. You are greeted with fruit, snacks and a welcome drink of arrival, and every day without fail the mom notices when you come back from your activities, and you get a knock on the door with different drinks/snacks which changed every day, all free of charge. Breakfast is also lovely, and made to order from a menu. This is also included in the price of the stay. The staff were always on hand with any help we needed, and the bikes were good to use to get around. It set in the most stunning location, and only a 5-10 minute walk into the main town. When we checked out, we also got given a bag with some snacks and some water for our travels.Thank you for making our stay so memorable, I can’t believe the value for money we got here!!

Great location close to the center but quiet… amazing staff

We had a lovely stay at this hotel! We loved the location, which was about a 5 minute bike ride to the center of Tam Coc but a little bit secluded and surrounded by mountains (though it is next to other hotels, so it's not as isolated as it looks on the pics). The hotel had bikes you could use for free and the owners were super lovely and gave us free snacks on arrival, when we left, and during our stay. The breakfast was a little greasy, but good, with several options to choose from (eggs, pancakes, rice, fruit, etc.). The beds were spacious and comfortable.

The shower ran out of hot water quickly, and since it's a combined shower/toilet, the floor got very wet (which wasn't a big issue for us).

We had such a lovely time here. The bungalows are clean and spacious, the staff is amazingly kind (they even brought us snacks in the afternoon) and just 5 minutes biking from the chaotic centre (free bikes). Couldn’t recommend more!!!

Great location in a secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle but only a 5 min walk across the rice fields. Breakfast was really good and the lovely lady there would bring us a cup of tea with fruit and little cakes in the evening when we got back from dinner .Rooms comfortable and clean and budget friendly. Second stay at this property in under a yesr !

Nothing to not like

The Homestay is located between mountains, and it has a beautiful, well kept garden. The surroundings are green and peaceful but at the same time the property is close enough to walk to restaurants and the town centre of Tam Coc. The rooms and bathroom are rather basic, but large and spacious, Duc and his family were very friendly and helpful, serving fresh fruit and a delicious made-to-order breakfast. We were even served tea with fruit and cake every afternoon. When we had to check- out before breakfast time, we were given a care package of biscuits and water and Duc’s mother even gave us fresh buns the next morning!

Because it had rained a lot, everything was damp in the room. It was only on the second evening after coming back to a room that hadn’t been cleaned (we were told later that we have to hang the “Please clean the room” sign outside the door) and still very wet towels, that Duc removed the welding on the key to separate it from the tab to switch on the electricity and showed us how to dehumidify the room using the aircon. It would have been helpful to have been told this from the beginning, so as not to have had to spend the night in damp sheets.

The property & location is serene. Lovely owners, very accommodating & friendly! They even gave us a little snack bag to take to the airport which was such a nice touch ☺️ Breakfast each morning was 10/10 too!

Amazing location- peaceful spot amongst the limestone cliffs but an easy walk or cycle to restaurants, shops and other sights. The staff are so kind and helpful, they helped me book my onward travel and were so generous in bringing me fruits and drinks

This was such good value for money. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was big and comfy, and the breakfast was really tasty, with vegan options available.The family were really friendly and helpful, with the mum popping by in the evenings to gift us snacks.There are free bicycles available to use, which we took everyday to cycle the short distance across the water into town.The gardens are really pretty and it was nice to sit outside on the porch and read in the evenings.Couldn’t recommend enough!

Location, staff, room, breakfast was yummy

There were dirty sunflower seeds cover under the table after previous guests.Receptionist was not always sitting at the reception but you can chat with him through whatsapp qnd he will come.

We loved this place, quiet and beautifully situated on a mountainside with a lovely garden and small pool. The staff was very helpful and made us feel at home. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The location is excellent: 15 minutes on foot from the center. We rented a motorbike at the hotel so that we could discover the many hidden gems in the wide area. You can also use bicycles for free.

It was a beautiful place in a stunning location - all the staff were wonderful and we really enjoyed all aspects of it- a 5 minute walk into town for restaurants and shopping thank you to all at Tam Coc luxury homestay!

The location was perfect for our stay. It feels like the middle of nowhere, surrounded by mountains, but is only a 15 minute walk into town.Breakfast was lovely. We made use of the free bikes, moped hire, and laundry service, and the staff also let us store our bags there after checkout as we had a late bus.

Traditional development of local style single storey rooms in a great setting 15 minutes walk from the centre on Tam Coc. Great value for money, free bike hire, scooters available to hire. Staff very helpful and friendly with English spoken. Rooms clean and well equipped as were the gardens.

The location is really quiet except for some building works for a new small hotel 100m away. This will be finished by end of January.

The place is beautiful and well maintained. The location is beautiful and surrounded by nature. The host was good and helped us with early checkin and helped us with renting bike to arranging cabs. They’re good people. You will enjoy staying here.

I wish they offered some more vegetarian options for breakfast. But rest everything was good
