    • Everything!!! Such a beautiful space. The property, the people, the staff. I can not say enough positive things about Victory Homestay. It’s incredible. You are not in a touristy part of Ninh Binh, it is definitely more local, but that’s what I loved so much. It really is such a special place. It’s clean, it’s beautiful, the staff and owners seem to take such an incredible amount of pride in the overall experience. I fell in love with place and would go back in a heartbeat. I was sad to leave. And then there are Choppy and Oddie ? the cutest mascots ever. If I could give this place 20 stars I would ❤️❤️❤️
    • Super friendly and helpful family and staff. They even organized our pickup and made us feel so welcomed. The rooms are spacious, super comfortable and very clean.
    • I loved how welcoming everyone at this homestay is!! This was the best homestay experience I’ve had since arriving in Vietnam 2months ago!! The property feels luxurious for the price that it’s at!! It’s beautiful and clean!

    Cons -

    • Nothing. Everything was wonderful. A very special place.
    • I loved how understanding and flexible everyone was!! I arrived at an awkward time and right away the staff let me check in and gave me a map of where to go and what to do!
    • The last day of my stay it was a bit too hot in the room. However the central fan was working and the bunk bed had a smaller fan. There was probably an issue with AC. Besides that all good.

The location is convenient, within walking distance from main tourist spots. The staff was helpful and very pleasant.

The pool lights up after dark. It’s the perfect environment to unwind in. The beds are in the cubby style where you have solid walls around you instead of nothing (or curtains). This makes for more privacy, less noise, and better sleep. Thanks to the staff for being welcoming and helpful at every moment!

This guesthouse is great value for money. It feels very luxurious. The pool and lounge area is very nice. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the night staff went out of their way to be helpful and were so incredibly kind.

No complaints. Only thing is that a shared kitchen is in the facilities list but seems there isn't kitchen facilities guests can use. Inconvenient for someone hoping to cook because of allergies or another reason.

The staff is extremely friendly, I like the billiard and the swimming pool here the most, great. The organized tours are also great. This place is recommended

I only stayed for one night but everything was great and I can't think of anything to complain about. I was there for commemoration day and had to walk for about 20-30 minutes to see the festivities and very beautiful architecture so there are definitely some things you can see by walking but you can also rent motorbikes or bicycles to see other places.

I loved this hostel, it is an amazing location a short walk to the town, its very quiet in the evening and you can hear the Monks chanting in the temple next door. During the day the market is on the same street where you can buy just about anything. The staff at the hostel are very helpful and always smiling. The food and drinks are freshly prepared and very good. I stayed in dorms, we had a bath and the facilities are excellent clean and very spacious. highly recommended

We stayed at Victory Homestay for 4 days. We had a good-sized room and bathroom. All very new and modern looking. Breakfast options were minimal. The waffles were not fully cooked. Overall, the property and swimming pool were very pleasant and relaxing. There is no daily room service unless you ask for it. Since Ninh Binh doesn’t have much to offer, we took a Grab taxi to Tam Coc, which is 8km from Ninh Binh. Cost US$4.2.The shower water temperature was not constant and varied between hot and cold, and the internet was spotty at times.

Staff were accommodating and were happy to use google translate to communicate.

Breakfast was very basic and did not include coffee. We had 2 rooms booked, but they misunderstood and gave us a single room with multiple beds (not dorm style). Once we explained with google translate, they gave us our room. We booked a tour with the hotel and they took the money in advance. They kept changing the tour plan, and finally put us in one that was more expensive. They shouldve checked availability before charging us.

Very spacious rooms with comfy beds.

The free breakfast was disappointing. You don’t even get a tea or coffee.

modern and clean room, owned by a hospitable and friendly family, nothing could be better. this place is recommended

It’s a very clean and nice Homestay with very nice and helpful owners ! I stayed in the dorm rooms. I would really recommend staying here !

The mattresses in the dormitories are a bit too hard

Best stay in our whole Vietnam trip. Comfortable rooms with everything you need. Well located: close to the centre but not in the middle of all the hassle. The breakfast was simple but delicious!!

Brand new facilities, friendly staff, good location. We even stumbled across the owner at a Com Chay (rice crackers) store that was owned by her, and she opened up the store just for us even though it was closed.

The reception wasn’t open early in the morning when we wanted to check-out, but this probably could’ve been avoided by notifying them in advance. Our rooms were right in front of the pool, which meant that we couldn’t open the curtains without sacrificing privacy.

Great place. Very helpful staff, they helped arrange laundry, scooter rental, bus ticket... They offered drinks and food (very good) right at the reception... They advised me where to go on a trip, so I didn't buy any tourist bus tickets, but I got around everything on a scooter. They have a beautiful pool, which I didn't try because there was cold weather. It's a quiet location, there's a cemetery across the street :-) They have a soundproofing door and window!!!! And just around the corner is a street local market. The nearest restaurants are a 3-minute walk. I stayed in a shared room, which was very well built and equipped (and new!). My bed had a curtain, an electric socket, a lamp... It was comfortable and wide. The locker was surprisingly big enough to fit everything in there.Great bathroom. A bathroom made in the European style - you don't have to wade through water when you go to the toilet or sink. And there's a lot of hot water... like hey, it's strange to comment on this, but I really enjoyed the shower and the whole bathroom. If I ever go here again, I will definitely choose the same accommodation again.

Expect the night bus to stop about 8 km away and taxi drivers to overcharge you. They will tell you that Grab doesn't work and if you refuse to pay 300,000 dong for a 10 minute ride, they will get angry. Just wait a bit and you will get a better price.

The place ist pretty nice and the rooms are set up beautifully with modern equipment and a nice bathroom. That's for the 8 bed shared room i had. Everything was clean.

I don't know what happened with the coconut coffee. It tasted like old or sour milk, couldn't drink it. The pancake with "fruits" were pretty sad too. Just some normal pancakes which are okay but served only with some sliced banana and a little cup of jam. There are so many fruits just a few steps out along the street. But at the same time they served amazing big dinner to their family...that's why it took so long for my food and it seemed like they didn't even know how to do it...

I absolutely loved my stay at Victory Hostel! The beds are super spacious, with curtains and wooden partitions, giving way more privacy than most hostels. But the real surprise? The washroom—it’s honestly better than a five-star hotel! There’s a bathtub, and there’s always hot water running. I mean, who even gets a bathtub in a hostel? The outdoor pool area is a perfect spot to chill, swim, or just relax with a drink or some food. The location is also amazing—on one side, you’ve got good restaurants within walking distance, and on the other, there are local fruit and flower shops, pharmacies, and more, making everything super convenient.Another unexpected win? Their coffee is actually great! I wasn’t expecting much (since hostel coffee is usually average), but this one really surprised me. They also have a food menu, which is a nice bonus. But what really made this place special was the people. I arrived at Victory Hostel already feeling unwell from food poisoning I got in the last city, and the owners and staff were incredibly kind. Even though their café had already closed, they still made me lemon and ginger tea at 11 PM to help me feel better. The next day, they checked on me and even invited me to have lunch with them, making sure I had a proper meal. The owners were so thoughtful—they even offered me extra meat and snacks, making sure I was well-fed and taken care of. That level of kindness is truly rare.On my checkout day, I couldn’t get a cab to the train station. The owners saw me struggling and offered to drive me there for free, just to make sure I got there on time. That’s the kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home. After staying in so many hostels across Vietnam, this one was hands down the most welcoming and homely experience I’ve had. I absolutely love this place and would recommend it to anyone!

Nothing. It is a great hostel
