Tam Coc Cat Luong Homestay

I've been travelling around Asia for 7 months and these was the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The place is quiet, pretty and perfect to rest and disconect. They don't have many options for food but invited us for dinner and drinks with the family a couple of times. Super sweet!

They are very nice, they welcomed us with some fruit and juice. We rented a bike for 2 days and then we wanted to rent for 1/2 day more and they didn’t have any problem. The room was very clean and also is a very quiet place. The last they when the bus pick us up they give us some waters for free for the trip.

There is a factory next to the hotel but for me it doesn’t make a huge difference

It's quite place, good support from the owners. The price for room it's alright.

It's far from the town and nearby no good place to eat. The lock of the door it's bad, better put our own and the sliding door a bit hard to push.

The fabric behind changes all the natural mood we were expecting, we didn`t have the best experience with them, we felt they were not so friendly as we expected, also the room is super small so even theres no space for the bags on the floor, not the best

Rural and mistly beautiful surroundings.

Located next to a massive cement factory, limestone mine, so sometimes noisy with large trucks. Some of the bungalows have view blocked by this factory. Generally the whole site was littered with building materials so felt like a construction site.

The location is nice. It’s 30mins walk from the town, but it’s among mountains and water.

Our twin room was looking at a factory. We had a window but it was blinded, probably for this reason. I guess if you stay in a bungalow around the fishing pond the experience will be different.It could be cleaner.

The place is very beautiful! It’s away from all the noise of the village, with very modern and clean rooms. They offer motorbike and bicycle rentals, as well as several breakfast options.It’s only a 15-minute walk to Tam Coc village (not 30 minutes as Google Maps says).The staff is friendly and always willing to help (however, they don’t speak English, except for one of the girls, so communication was a bit challenging. but They helped us with everything we needed, and we felt very comfortable at all times).

Very chill and comfy spot in Tam Coc! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous in this area, much better than if you stay in the center of Tam Coc, and it is so relaxing at this homestay. The family is very nice and incredibly helpful! We rented a scooter, booked our bus out of the city and did our laundry through them at great rates and the services were delivered perfectly. We were very lucky to have them =) Breakfast is nice and the room is clean and very private. Really recommend this spot!

Hot water supply is limited

Everything was amazing we stayed for 3 nights. They cooked us a fresh delicious breakfast every morning with coffee. The beds were clean and comfortable. They helped us rent a bike and book our bus. They brought us to the bus stop and made sure we got on the right one. The location is beautiful and close enough to walk to the town, but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle for peace and quiet. It’s a family owned business and they really made us feel at home. Couldn’t recommend more

Nothing everything was amazing. Will definitely stay here again if back in Ninh Binh.

Peaceful and quiet location a little bit further from the city but still close enough that it won't take you long with a bicycle or motorbike. The staff were friendly and had good options for breakfast.

We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. Our host presented us with a map on arrival with all the local landmarks. Food was very good and the room was excellent with the best bed we have had in Vietnam. The venue also had a well stocked fishing lake that I was able to use with equipment loaned to me by the host. We originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 5 as it was so good

Comfortable bed, everything very clean and beautiful. I can’t say much else about the hotel, as I had to leave early due to a medical emergency. The owner’s daughter spent the entire day with me at the hospital, took care of me and interpreted for me. Amazing hospitality!

The bungalow was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a pleasant stay. However, the view was less than ideal, overlooking a factory. The hosts were friendly, but there was a language barrier as they didn’t speak English, which made communication a bit tricky. Overall, a good stay if you don’t mind the view and the language difference

Beautiful area, clean pool, nice staff (thank you for the passionfruit juice!), comfortable room and amazing price. Locstion was really good too. Good value place.

It was in such a beautiful location just a 30 min walk out of tam Coc centre or a 10 min bike ride. The scenery was so beautiful! I can’t thank the owners at the homestay enough they were so helpful and kind and helped us so much when I had a serious accident. The room was so clean and spacious.

Fairly clean room, swimming pool. Nice area.

I definitely can’t recommend this hotel because of the staff. The owner spoke almost no English. During our stay there was a flood. I asked if it was safe for us to stay there and the owner replied „yes”. The next day the water rose so much that we had to leave the scooter far away from the hotel and walk in knee-deep water among the fish. That's when we decided that we wanted to change hotels because the situation would definitely be much worse the next day. The owner did not offer us any discount for the situation and lied that her car broke down so that she would not have to take us to another hotel that we had to find ourselves. She ordered us a taxi for which we had to pay a lot ourselves. When I asked at the end if the driver knew the address to which he was to take us, the owner replied to me via Google translator: "you pay for the taxi". It was very rude.Breakfasts were cold and tasteless. The ice cubes for the glass were taken from the freezer BY HAND. Disgusting. The owner charged our stay more than she should have because we stayed one night longer than I booked through booking.com so the price should not include booking’s commission.

The Landscape is so beautiful, they help me try to find a bus and the motorbike so easy.

I was traveling by myself, I think she was so rude with me, she want to take more money from me for everything, the bathroom wasn’t clean, the smell was like vomit, and poor breakfast more onion than eggs.

King room with a great view over the lake view was extremely comfortable and clean, with functioning air con and a fan, The shower was powerful. We did not arrive until 5am and the host was waiting for us to check us in and take us to our rooms. The host made us a cooked to order breakfast every morning that we pre ordered the night before. There are bicycles and push bikes to rent from this homestay to get around on..overall it was really nice. Extremely peaceful and relaxing.

There was not anything I did not like

a very peaceful place to stay! A king sized room with lake view was clean and very comfortable. Working air con and a fan which made the room very cool. Powerful and hot shower which i very much appreciated! We arrived at 5am and the landlady was waiting to check us in and very swiftly took us to our rooms so we could rest. There was cooked to order breakfast each morning which you pre-ordered the night before, which was very tasty. She was so helpful and booked us taxi’s when we needed them. It’s a 8 minute drive from tam coc, so very close, but taxi’s and grab were tricky to get. There are bicycles and mopeds available to rent from the homestay which was handy. Overall a very lovely, peaceful stay!

Difficulty getting a grab, however host was very helpful sorting us taxis.
