Good value for money. Cheap and Comfortable enough. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely gardens.

My breakfast was really disheartening - no love, taste or effort put into my very simple dish. We both ordered stir fried noodles with vegetables. We were served 2 min noodles (which we expected, that was ok) with bok choy as our only vegetable that was so over cooked it literally got stuck and coated your teeth and instead of even a bit of onion, we just had dirty onion skin.... it was hugely disappointing and inedible. The ginger tea was nice. Coffee dreadful.The room floor had not been cleaned on arrival, housekeeping arrangement was a bit strange and no thought was given to fresh towels, emptying our toilet bin, or toilet paper for our room, even when we got back after a big day in the heat. We had to ask for these things.

Clean and nice hotel. Staff were extremely helpful. They sorted out a motorbike hire and airport transfer. Additionally we left items in our room after we checked out and the staff posted it to our next hotel for us.

Spacious and comfortable room, overlooking buffalo in the fields. Bed is very comfortable, great shower. Best omelette we’ve had in Vietnam, packed with veggies. Nice gardens and pool, also have x2 10kg dumbbells available which I was very happy about. All the staff are great! The manager Loan, and the boy who works mainly nights are both very friendly and super helpful. Great for info to do around town, offer to help with bookings, ordering taxis etc.

Slightly out of town, we didn’t mind too much as we hired a scooter from the hotel, also have bicycles for hire. Mini mart within walking distance

The Staff !! Loan on front reception was just so friendly and truly helpful, also the guy Quoc - he was great Gave lots of suggestions for activities to do . The gardens were lovely, rooms were a good size and clean.Scooters available to hire , definitely needed as is a few km out of town .

Location is outside of the main areas, so you have to get a Grab taxi or hire a bike to go to bars and restaurants.

It was out of the main city and very peaceful but still only a short bike ride away from everything.The level of service from Loan and the whole team was exceptional. Loan went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met, from organising drivers, to meeting us at the local market when we needed a lift, to coming back when we were leaving at night. We have never had such wonderful service from a hotel before and wish every experience was like this.

The price of the property was very competitive. The building itself was very nice. Staff very helpful. Area was very quiet which was nice.Rooms were good size with modern tv. Comfortable bed. Good aircon also.

The location is an about 15/20 mins from the main area (Tam Coc) for restaurants/bars etc. So it was a bit of a way out to grab food. They didn’t have enough bicycles for me and my partner to use. Only one bicycle worked. They had no motorbikes also available so the first day I had to borrow one of the workers personal bike. The second day we got a bike and 15 mins later it broke down on the motorway. The hotel staff did send a replacement very quickly.The pool didn’t seem to be turned on maybe. The water was stagnant and not circulating. The drain was also very dirty.

She is such an great asset to the hotel and we cannot over state how much we appreciated her help.

Great hotel with good facilities and pool was great. Staff were amazing and serviced our requests with utmost professionalism. From booking buses and taxis and arranging tours for the local area. Hotel was out of town a bit. However, the hotel had scooters available to hire at the market rate. For someone who doesn’t ride scooters and is used to driving on left side of the road, it was really easy to navigate to walking street and main Ninh Binh center. Would definitely rate this hotel and stay again.

The location is not the best as a little away from restaurants and the main town. Though if happy to grab a cab or confident to ride a scooter then make use of the pool and tranquil evenings.

Fantastic stay at Châu sơn garden.The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfect, very clean with a large comfortable bed and clean spacious bathroom with amenities. Pool facilities were also lovely.We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel a few times and the food was always tasty fresh and made to order (one of the best coffee’s i’ve had in vietnam)We arrived at 4am off an overnight bus and a male staff member woke up to come let us in and show us to our room which was very kind. The location is a little far from some of the activities we wanted to do but reception staff were always able to call a taxi for us straight away. My partner fell off a motorbike on our second day and the receptionist could not have been more helpful in the situation. He sat him down cleaned his cuts and bandaged him up, then recommended a local hospital for us to go to. He also took our number and checked in periodically on how my parter was doing after the fall which was really lovely.

Loam was very friendly , helpful and informative. Rooms were spacious and clean. They have a beautiful garden. The vibe was relaxing and peaceful. Bikes for hire were available. This made the trip more enjoyable. Would recommend for family & friends

The room was lovely and spacious. The staff were incredibly helpful. We hired a scooter from them and explored all the surrounding areas. Location is away from all the tourist places - lovely and quiet.

The hotel is very nice and staff were very helpful. The young lady who appears to manage the hotel is fantastic, offered ideas on what we should do, arranged our trips and also onward travel trying to ensure we had the best experience Ninh Binh could offer.

Swimming pool unavailable, water not good, pumps not running, dead frog in pool, fitness area in garden comprising of set of dumbbells and a frame. We were the only people in the hotel. There is not a lot around the hotel.

The manager Quynh was outstanding in introducing us to ninh Binh and ensuring we got the best experience in Ninh Binh! Very helpful in our onward journey throughout Vietnam

Firstly Ninh Binh is the most peaceful city, friendly people and so many beautiful places to see. This Hotel is situated a couple of km from the city in a quiet scenic area which overlooks the mountains and Buffalo fields. The hotel is clean, modern, friendly staff, quiet, relaxed and the food is tasty and clean. This hotel makes that extra effort to make sure your stay is as relaxed as possible.It’s more than value for money. When I next travel to Ninh Binh I will stay here without a doubt.The breakfast is optional from the menu, the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. The difference is noticeably more flavoursom. They grilled beef, goat and Buffalo for us during our stay. The goat is so tasty and a must try. To note I would recommend hiring a motorbike or driver if you want to explore the many magical places there are to see in this hidden gem of a city.

The hotel is immaculate and quiet with a lovely garden and pool to sit by after a long day adventuring. The staff are so lovely and nothing is a hassle. The location is a few kilometres out of the main town area but it’s not a problem as the offer bikes or taxis are very cheap. We had the entire place almost to ourselves which blows my mind as it’s such a beautiful hotel for such a cheap price. I highly recommend you stay here during your time in Ninh Binh.
