Bai Dinh Riverside Resort & Spa

The staff were absolutely adorable and very helpful. The room was big, really comfortable, the bathroom had great amenities and the beds were soft. The breakfast had so many options from local pho, fruits and vegetables to bread, jam and eggs. The pool was nice and so close to the room. Bikes were also available for free, making the Bai Dinh pagoda just a quick 10 minutes bike ride away.

We liked the family villa located around the swimming pool and facing the river on the other side. the nicely sized bed and bedrooms were also nice and very clean.

We didn't feel welcome at all by the staff. The service was very cold and we felt like with every question we had we were annoying them.We ordered dinner at 8.30pm as we knew the restaurant closed at 10pm, but we didn't expect them turn off the lights on us while we were finishing our dinner. We had to ask for them to turn the lights back on. We also were waiting for them to remove the dirty dishes and plates from our table, we did ask for it and they replied they would do it after.At 10pm we asked to order another drink, but they told us the kitchen was closed. We had to insist to get a few beers from the fridge.we got asked to leave the pool area at midnight in a very rude way even tho the hotel was almost empty and we were quiet.Finally, we ordered a taxi to go to Hanoi with reception.We asked on WhatsApp and on booking.com if they could move the pick up time by an hour (2h in advance) but they didn't even contact the taxi driver who ended up waiting for us for an hour as he didn't get the right information.The breakfast was also very disappointing and tasteless.One of the shower room didn't have soap or shampoo as well.Overall it felt very overpriced for the kind of service we received and it felt uncomfortable and we didn't feel welcome which is a shame as so far we had very nice and welcoming stays in all kind of accomodations

Quiet lovely countryside

Nothing really but if you want to go to a restaurant or atm, you will need to take a taxi but that is easy and can be arranged by the manager.

Customer service was awesome. Rooms were very clean.

The staff were amazing, very accomadating and patient.The room was beautiful and the pool was perfect, Breakfast had variety,The location while out of town was close to all the key attractions and felt really peaceful, a great place to unwind.Staff were great with supporting us to book tours and the local tour guide (Thai) was so knowledgeable and connected to the area, it really made our day.

There was nothing notable

The room was nice and the bed was very very comfortable. Breakfast was simple. Restaurant has many food options for lunch and dinner. Service was great all round.

For the villas, the bathroom has an open concept meaning there is no main door between the bedroom and the bathroom area. Whilst some may like this modern set up, it was a little strange for us.

Calm, very beautiful garden, spacious comfortable double room with comfy bed and pillows, very good hotel restaurant, breakfast buffet was very good, baguette could be added for European or Vietnamese guest used to having fresh baguette, many options of salad, fruits, cake and donuts, also cereals with milk multiple fresh juice options, warm buffet or warm menu to choose from (e.g. fried rice, omelette, Pho soup and more). The tours to Trang An, Cuc Phuong National Park and Van Long Nature Reserve offered by the hotel were very good.One little note: In the greater area of the Hotel and Bai Dinh Pagoda construction work is being done. We did not recognise disturbing noises and the sounds of nature (birds and frogs) in the garden are the most present and relaxing for us. The development of tourism and infrastructure is something that is not special to Ninh Binh and can be recognised in the whole country of Vietnam due to fast growth im international tourism. We would book the Hotel again.

Excellent customer service, the best we experienced in 4-week Vietnam trip. They re-opened the restaurant so we could eat a dinner on our late night arrival. Good breakfast.

This resort is the perfect location if you are visiting the nearby temple complex but far away from Ninh Binh / Tam Coc attractions, requiring a taxi. We had a garden view room, Probably wouldn't pay more for a 'river view' but these rooms/villas looked lovely.

Staff was amazing and attentive. They were always friendly, smiley and helpful. My parents were vegetarian and the restaurant offered a great selection of vegetarian dishes; they even went above and beyond to prepare something else for my parents. We also booked sightseeing tours via the property; the team was very patient and listening! The trip was amazing - a great memory with my family and I have the team to thank for!

Maybe a bit far from the city; but I chose it because it is close to Bai Dinh Temple complex, which is far from the city centre.

Rooms were clean

Hot water didn’t last long, the buffet breakfast had flies all over it every morning, we told staff they didn’t do anything. They got our dinner orders wrong and took it and never brought back what we ordered. I messaged them, very rude staff. Would not stay here again.

We stayed in The family bungalow which had 3 bedrooms Very comfortable beds Spotlessly clean Good Air conditioner Good WiFi Beautiful large swimming pool, great place to relax in the beautiful countryside Friendly helpful staff Provided a lovely Birthday Cake for my daughter and made it special Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing place to stay

It's away from the main area with Restaurants Bars etc but easy to get a grab / taxi

We liked the overall facilities of this resort, and it's near to the tourist spots. Staff is very helpful and cooperative

The breakfast has a very limited menu. Could have been better.

We stayed in the Deluxe Villa and it was stunning. The pool area is great and we enjoyed the food. We were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday and Jenny organised a cake to be in the room with candles and wine upon our arrival. Jenny and all the staff were amazing and helped us so much during our time here.

Great location to relax as you are about 30 mins drive away from the main town. However, the resort is a short bicycle ride to Bai Dinh temple complex. Lovely and attentive staff.

The open bathroom did not offer much privacy.
