Fürther Hotel Mercure Nürnberg West

It was so clean and stuff was so helpful during our 3 days stay.

Parking and breakfast are at expensive side. Also on our second night fire alarms started around 9 pm while our kid was sleeping. All hotel was evacuated and after 15 minutes we were allowed to enter the hotel by fireman and police.But if it was only because of someone stupid smoking in their room, I would expect they wake up people after they ensure something is really wrong.I am sure this is their protocol and for people's safety and better than dying but that high volume alarm sound started a kind of trauma for me and my family, we will always be a bit of afraid to sleep in hotels.

No washer or dryer.Kitchen was mostly shut down on Sunday

No kitchen open, snack menu, more then half the menu not available.I had to pay for an extra room 2 persons foor 2 small kids (2 years old), but kids are used to be free.

Allover good hotel, nice rooms, good breakfast, big but kind of expenaive parking (14€/day)

Keep in mind they don't have family rooms and they can't connect two rooms. Nothing special, but good to know.

Swimming pool was nice, breakfast had great variety

The room was a bit too tight for 4 people. Insulation was not very good, we could hear every noise from the corridor. Pillows were very poor,

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful.

Lack of a refridgerator in the room was a disappointing surprise.

Perfectly located just off the Highway, but the traffic wasn’t even noticeable. Big parking Lot, 14€ a night, multiple entry/exit.

The coffee selection in the room was pretty bad, undrinkable even with creamer and sugar.

1st time staying here and I wasn’t disappointed nice room good shower had kettle for coffee Didn’t have breakfast bit looked amazing Staff was fantastic too

Nothing really

Good location next to the highway and quite close to Fürth center. The sound insulation of the rooms is outstanding; even though the hotel is right next to the highway, there is no noise in the rooms whatsoever. Breakfast is good. There's a lot of street parking around the hotel, so no need to pay for hotel parking. Kids friendly. Rooms are quite spacious.

Beds are very comfortable, but the pillows are way too soft.

The parking was not free and unexpectedly expensive. The structure is located very much out of town, just near highway and I booked it on purpose, so I could use the parking. Yet, on the next day (nothing was mentioned on the night of arrival), i was charged a solid fee (a price you would pay in a city garage) for using the huge and empty parking space in front of the hotel. This seems a little thing, but since I choose the hotel specially because of the parking, it ruined the experience. There are so many other similar chain-hotel, so I would not recommend this one.

Not a hotel for long stay. Didnt get bottled water and no where to store clothes.

We only checked in to use the pool and shower facilities as we had a few hours to kill before needing to leave for the airport. Our original hotel we had to check out at 1pm. We booked via booking.com but when we arrived we asked the receptionist if we could get a day rate rather than a over night rate, in which the receptionist was not really helpful. It appeared as if he had no interest to look further into this and just told us no. With that being said not all staff were rude, the (Vietnamese) waiter in the restaurant was very friendly, kind and polite - the food (I had surf and turf) and service were great. We then retired our bedroom and got ready for the airport, we then checked out.

The pool on the booking.com pictures is not what it seems, its a small pool and whilst we was there it was fulled with children so we didn’t get to use it. The sun lounges we’re limited to around 6 lounges and was all being used by the parents of the children so we only got around 10 minutes relaxing on the lounges. Me and my mother regretted booking into this hotel, we felt it was a waste of our money however if we had more time I do feel it would of been worth the while - this was our fault. Not fault our the hotels it self, its a lovely place.
