Hampton Inn Minneapolis NW Maple Grove

The entire hotel is being renovated and seems brand new! Our room was beautiful and spotless! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the pool, hot tub, and gym were all very nice, and breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.

Got there and no water for 2.5 hours. room above us was loud, walking all over, could hear them all night.

We got put in room 101, right by the front desk and pool entrance. Also I don¿t know what was above us but it was constant stomping. So loud at 0800!!! We were hoping to rest as we got in late before hitting the road again. We ended up just leaving

Noisy hotel. Walls are paper thin and you can hear every footstep around. Not somewhere light sleepers would want to stay.

Clean, comfortable. Breakfast was good, Internet was fast, etc. They were upfront about the fact that they would not be cleaning our room during our stay (common these days). Everything we expected!

The only negatives were that the hot tub was very hot (every single other guest we encountered down there agreed), but we just jumped in the pool after a few minutes. And they ran out of towels in the pool area every afternoon.

one of our 4 rooms had bed bugs so we all felt uncomfortable in our own rooms

Great place and stay.

The breakfast was mostly sugars and carbs. It would have been nice to have proteins ... maybe meat and eggs.

The Staff and the Location was very nice.

I had to have my entire bed redone with clean linen. I also had to have all of the bathroom towels replaced because the one's there were dingy. I also had to help the hotel employee nake the bed.

Comfort, design, cleanliness, friendly staff, and a great full breakfast!

Shower drain was completely plugged up - but they fixed it immediately when I mentioned it!

Nice room at a fair price

Hampton Inn puts a $50 hold on your account for 5 days automatically just in case there are incidentals? Like what? I take the soap or shampoo with me? Charge me if I do owe money don't make a greedy pig money grab hold on me.

It was very clean. It included everything that we could possibly need...microwave, frig, hair dryer, iron and board, TV, desk, exercise room, free breakfast and pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Quite. The gentleman at the desk mentioned that there was a hockey tournament and moved us to the top floor, where there would not be much noise. We never heard anyone in the hall and we were by the elevator.

We stayed on the first floor and found our room to be recently updated and very nice. The rpom was clean, hotel staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was nice as well. Would stay there again.

This is being nitpicking, but having some coffee that is not so strong would be nice.

Location was good for what I was there for. Shopping was good, close to hotel. Hotel appeared to be updated since the last time we stayed there.

My only complain were small for a king bed and not very comfortable

Clean room. Lots to do around the hotel. Famous Dave's practically next door. Plenty of shopping

Breakfast was just ok. Typical fare...waffles, cereal, bagels, fruit.

The duvet covers are changed every time. Must have been recently remodeled. Nice wallpaper in the hallways.

Cleanliness inside, cleaning staff very polite/kind

EXTENSIVE construction outside but no one had warned us of this. Still handled wellinside, not noticeable. The breakfast help was complaining about being hungry although.they were serving others food. They should be allowed to eat before serving.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, pool and hot tub were average, towels very small for pool area.

Hotel was undergoing major exterior renovation and very little parking and lots of noise and workers in and around the hotel and a lot of equipment moving around with back up beepers going.
