Homewood Suites by Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Airport and Cruise Port

Location to airport and port

Bathroom was dirty. Odor in the room. Do NOT do the airport pickup waited over an hour and never came. Made for an extremely long night.

This hotel desperately needs to upgrade their furniture in the rooms. Ours rooms furniture had tears and stains. Pretty banged up. It made me think what else wasn't being taken care of.

Only one electric outlet worked in the two room suite. Room was dirty and carpets worn out. For almost $--- per night this was not worth the money. Please haven someone contact me. I?d like credit or points in compensation

Long wait to check in. It was due to technical difficulties on The hotels end.

The breakfast was good..

We had 6 of us,so we used the pull out sofa it was horrible like out of a trash hotel. The bathrooms were old and they gave us 3 towels for 6 people. The kitchen was in poor condition. This was a Hilton and we expected more for the price..would not stay

Location, clean, and comfortable.

We had no issue with the hotel.

The room was larger than anticipated. I like the vinyl flooring instaead of all carpet. Feels clearner

Shower seemed weak. Took quite a while to get how water, or the right tempature.

The lobby and pool area are beautiful.

Once you get off the elevator on your floor, the carpets are dirty. We had stained towels and the bathroom was patched up badly.

The staff was very nice and helpful , easy check in and out , pool nice , Staff went out of there way to be very helpful . Beds comfortable

The halls was hot and we changed rooms because air was very hot. The staff was very kind about moving us and very nice

The driver of the shuttle from the airport was horrible.Very rude,obnoxious drove like a wild man..Then insulted passengers if they didnt give him a tip.He was awful...

Dirty hotel room. The cleaning lady came and vacummed food on the floor. You could tell it was not cleaned well. Plus a sofa I would never sit on. Plus the top sheet of the bed was yellowish in color. NOt good! Needed towels. etc

Suites had plenty of room including a small kitchen and full size sofa. The location was good for an overnight stay to go to the airport. Free breakfast was good and nice to have.

Our plan was to enjoy the pool during our one day at the hotel. Unfortunately the pool was dirty. The front desk confirmed that the pool is cleaned once a week. So if you plan to use the pool you have a one in seven chance of it being clean that day.

Nice rooms and amenities. Right on the river walk but removed from the action of downtown.

They did not make up my room for my second days stay or refresh my towels or toiletries. For the money I would expect more. The entry has limited room to drop off bags or passenger.

Close to airport and cruise terminal with free shuttle from airport.

Only place to eat around hotel was a Wendy¿s. Breakfast was nothing special.

Shuttle service would not come and pick us up at the airport as promised. Called twice, spoke to the driver with a full van and after waiting over 1 1/2 hours we had to pay a taxi to get back to out car.

Free cocktail hour with plentiful food.

One person at desk had a heavy accent and was difficult to understand.

Staff at front desk was very unprofessional. This was not the kind older lady that was there at checkin. My problem came during checkout 10/24 1pm.I called and questioned about an incorrect charge on my card and was met with racially insensitive language

Room was large and clean. Free bottled water.

We had to call the hotel for the shuttle twice and sat outside the airport for an hour waiting. Two maintenance staff tried to enter our room claiming to be responding to a call to repair the AC. The AC in our room was working so maybe wrong room.

The rooms not being cleaned every day and sanitize especially since covid is still around, even if little cleaning was done especially the bathroom and beds.
