Hampton Inn Daytona Shores-Oceanfront

MY STAY WAS FANTASTIC .THE STAFF WAS NICE AND PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES.THE BREAKFAST WAS THE BEST HAD ALOT OF FOODS WAS ABLE TO EAT A VARIETY OF BREAKFAST ITEMS. I HAD EASY ACCESS TO THE BEACH AND HAD MY PRIVATE BALCONY.

Nothing the staff disrespectful charge for parking when we weren’t supposed to be

Yeah, we were charged for parking. Which parking was supposed to be included. Poor staff dirty room very disrespectful.

Clean and friendly staff

Needs updating.. no guide on tv remote or ability to stream. Shower didn’t drain properly.

Beach access closed, dirty, hot tub broke, ac was not adequate. Elevator got suck with someone in it

For the price, I was disappointed. It was very outdated, sliding glass door wouldn’t close properly and counter on bathroom sink was lifting.

Location was great. Pool was great. Beach front views.

No “beach access”. The hot tub was not working. Our first morning there was no breakfast, no coffee creamer, no milk. Our room was gross (rust from bed on the floor). When we asked for trash pick up, we were just given trash bags. Disappointed.

It was on the beach but it did not have beach access. The view was good and so was the breakfast

They were short staff so my room was not ready and I had to wait.

There was no beach access from the hotel, needed to walk down the street to get to the beach. The hot tub was not running. Happy the lobby looked like it was being remodeled. There were posted signs starting that breakfast will be limited. Staff lies

Hall carpet was dirty. Waffle maker was broken. Homeless guy living in the lobby. Hot tub broken

Nice clean room

False advertisement. Selected ocean front got side view with pool.

Not much to mention.

1) The day desk clerk doesn?t greet you when you enter and exit. They were never busy, and she stayed glued to her electronic device and never looked up. 2) Hotel hasn?t repaired sink holes around the outside near the pool. Dangerous situation!

The price was reasonable for a room.

It is a bit older of a hotel and they had some damage from hurricane. I didn't lower my rating because of the damage and the hotel is completely functional. Just was not expecting it.

On the beach

DO NOT BOOK HERE!! Beware: The hotel does not disclose pertinent info like only 1 car allowed and parking fees. Vanessa and Char, at front desk, were incredibly rude. Room had heavy smoke smell. Would NOT change our room. We left and no refund given!

Paying for parking in my opinion is a scam because we?re hotel guests. Also, the housekeeper didn?t even come by to give us more towels and one of our rooms smelled like cigarettes

Noisy, did not sleep for two nights, was told I could check out a day early, the after checking out, talked to manager next day and was told she would not authorise a refund.

How close it was to the beach

The elevator is way to close. me and my fianc� just used the stairs most the time

The staff was very helpful and the room was very clean.

The parking lot is really scrunched for space, but beachfront locations are always tough on parking.

It was very clean and comfortable and the staff was great. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great and had a good selection of hot and cold food choices, it was clean and well organized.

Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was outstanding! Great location!

Hotel could be a little nicer, pillows were not my cup of tea.
