Location. The hosts. The dock.

Very quaint, old Florida vibe, and sparkling clean. Right on the canal with outdoor dock seating and screened in porch. The location is right off the main road walking distance to lots that Matlacha has to offer.

Location!!!

This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. You are walking distance to great food and shops. Also, you can fish right out of the back door. The bikes and kayaks are so fun also.

My favorite part was the beautiful natural surroundings, but was pleasantly surprised at how close we were to all these adorable shops and restaurants. I definitely fell in love with Matlacha during this quick excursion.

Room needs some attention. The shower leaks. No hot water our last day. Blinds on sliding door are difficult to operate.

Nothing to dislike. Jeanette and Michael were excellent hosts. Loved fishing off their dock for catfish. Rooms comfy and screened area was fantastic.

Great small, old style four room motel, clean comfortable, recently painted, new floors. If come to Anglers Inn with expectations of it being a Comfort Inn with modern showers, new building, you will be disappointed. Angler Inn is an older motel, well kept, clean, comfortable, with great restaurants 5 minute walk, have your own outdoor screened in porch on waterway, dock wall for boat.

Everything. The location, the area, the rooms (newly renovated). This is a perfect place to go fishing or for a silent getaway, We loved this place. Tip: Get your breakfast at The Perfect Cup and a t-shirt from O'Keefe's shop next to the perfect cup, both a short walking distance away from Angler's Inn. We hope to come back and stay longer.

Very comfortable for us and our two dogs. We had a nice little kitchenette and very pleasant screened in area. It was nice to be able to sit and watch the canal.

The room is bright and clean. There is a kitchenette to cook meals. However we only used the coffee maker in the morning. Allowing dogs is a plus.

You can hear people talking right outside the room clearly.

Great place to unwind. We wanted a quick getaway for the weekend, and this was perfect for us. Nothing fancy, but very clean and accommodating. We'll stay a little longer next time.

Location

Room had ants all over the kitchen.Which means you could not put any food or drink unattended. I let the manager know and she came to the room, wiped up all the ants,and never came back to get rid of them. No closet or dresser to put your clothes in. The room floor is uneven and so is the shower so, you lose your footing...I felt like I was on a cruise ship at times.

Cute little place. Loved to sit and watch the wildlife. The back porch was our favorite part.The kitchen area was well stocked.

The cottage could use a closet or a few hooks for hanging clothes.
