Hotel Lotus at Merriam

I liked that you had pump hand wash soap. That's so much better than little bar soap, which makes a mess of the vanity. Very smart!

The shower room was a little too dark. There were no juice options for breakfast.

Front desk staff were rude, slow & not helpful or accommodating

Nothing Would never stay here again!

Hot Tub only worked 1 out of 5 days we were there. The bottom of the pool was so sharp that it cut the bottom of all 5 of our daughter’s feet to the point of bleeding! Then told the front desk and their response was oh well we don’t have any bandaids.

Room smelled of dog pee... So they moved me. And, the next room didn't have a working air conditioner. I pity the person who stays there anywhere north of 72 degrees.

Location. Fun to see local high school sports teams on weekends.

Landline phones are dead but no one told me this.

We loved the indoor pool and hot tub, however the pool was cold enough that you kind of had to ease your way into it. I was able to enjoy the pool but my wife couldn't handle being in the pool at all.

Clean, friendly, nicely decorated, exercise room, tasty breakfast, nearby mid-priced restaurants, a great value.

The A/C was working great so the room was cold when we got there. The next morning it was time to warm the room up a bit, but the heat did not work. Breakfast was adequate, but not up to a 3 star standard.

The stuff was rude and made us feel rushed out also the breakfast was low and when we asked if there was more at 745 the cook was super rude and put her hand up to us

Foam pillows and no juice at breakfast

Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Good location near shops and restaurants. 24 hour access to fitness center was nice. Air conditioner in room worked great.

Pancake maker and juice dispenser wasn’t working for our 4 night stay. The power to the refrigerator that stored the milk, yogurt, butter and cream cheese for breakfast kept going off,so the items weren’t cold. Toaster burned items. Broken keycard entry.

Great friendly service , swimming area was nice kids had fun time , Delicious breakfast 🍳

Convenient location, clean rooms, pool, hot tub

The rooms were extremely well made/clean.

When I approached and parked, I went to the door under the awning, but it was not easy to determine if this was infact the correct door. As I was packing to leave the conversation in the next room sounded as if it were in mine.

Location-within 15 minutes of KU Med Center. We had a quiet room and good breakfast selections both days.

I had trouble with the television remote, but figured it out before help arrived. The telephone did not work to call the front desk and the hair dryer did not work. The front desk was able to give me another hair dryer.

It was very clean.

The toilet wasn't working right. Called about it. They said they would send maintenance up. After waiting 30 minutes, I called back down. Found out that the maintenance man was at another property. Moved to a much smaller room. Won't be back.

What I like best about this hotel is the smell it had a really nice smell to it the rooms was clean the staff was great location was fine would have loved to got in the pool but wasn't able to

The two things I didn't like about the hotel is the price I think it was way too expensive and the jacuzzi didn't work I only got this hotel because of the jacuzzi my back was hurting and I needed it I would love to stay there again but I will check next

-Hotel staff treated the customer with respect. -Cleanliness of the room was excellent. -Breakfast was very good. -Dennys next door is a plus. -Plenty of parking.

-The hotel is located in a construction zone for at least another year (not noted when looking for places to stay). -The cable system is horrible..no TV Sunday and Monday morning.

I checked in at 1am and they were very helpful and accommodating

They didn¿t have any extra pillows or cots but we made it work!
