Ocean Village Hotel

The hotel was perfectly located near the beach and the Seahorse bar & grill. The hotel room was good no issues. Bed was comfortable. A/C worked. The hotel had a nice covered deck with seats overlooking the beach. Nice place to gather. Overall nice.

The bathroom sink could used more counter space.

Great location

We have a small dog and there was not a way to assure we had a pet friendly room. So when arrived we were told we could not stay after driving 8 hours.

The location is right on the beach.

The beds at the hotel need to be changed. Our TV did not work, maintenance was called but most channels did not work. We will not choose this hotel again.

Location!!!

Double room was super small, family of 4 barely fit and bathroom is so tiny. Also, shower was scalding hot with no way to cool it off.

Continental Breakfast was lacking a lot. Staff wasn't that friendly.

Lots of rotten boards in the floor of our room.

Very over priced for a mediocre room. Door was broken. Coffee maker broken. Fridge didnt cool. Check out time change after I got there. Too many form to fill out. Breakfast was terrible for the price paid. Nonmovie played. Will not go back.

Location was great Room was large

Door banging all night from people going in and out door going outside. It was loud all night. Water was pretty nasty and yellow but we know that's just surfside water and it's always that way.

Drive was nice, close to where we needed to be , patio was nice, access to beach was nice, restaurant was convenient and parking was plentiful. Overall was a great experience and definitely will be back.

The hotel is right on the beach, the price was right, it's very clean and well kept and the staff is very friendly. Downside, is not much to choose from in the way of restaurants, and the one at the hotel closes at 8pm.

reservations messed up had to change rooms second day. had medical issue develop and management took 4 hours to get back to us about leaving early there response was "you can leave whenever you like but no refund" That lack of consideration speaks volume

Hotel is in a great location, right on the beach. There are restaurants within walking distance and night club real close. Room AC worked well and staff was knowledgeable about the area.

Do yourself a favor and book a Hilton in Beaumont for the same price, the rooms are a lot cleaner, the beds softer, and the staff more professional. Drive to the beach instead of staying in this hotel, Surfside beach is a poor place to go for fun anyhow.

I love that this hotel is located directly on the beach. There are multiple common space balconies as well as a private balcony off each floor and room so you can enjoy the beach view.

The restaurant that is at the hotel was a downer! There deep fryer was broke so we couldn't get anything deep fried. So we ordered the cheeseburgers and to replace the fries they gave us a bag of chips and charged us full price for the meal.
