Hampton Inn By Hilton & Suites Richmond Short Pump

I liked that the hotel was clean as far as the lobby and the room and the staff was friendly.

I did not like that in my room there was a mildew smell in the bathroom which truly turned me off and made for my experience not to be great. It literally smelled as though there were wet clothes somewhere and we just could not locate.

Horrible customer service, quoted us $--- over the phone for two nights and our bill was $---.

I was up graded to suite which was an unexpected surprise. The room was spotless and quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

The bathroom facilities poor. toilet was too low for older customers. No grab bars and very difficult to get up and down. It seemed like a recently built facility so I was surprised.

I have some stability issues , but sadly, sadly, the could not supply a shower chair or extra bath bars for my safety.

Hidden fees

Hidden fees. They charge you a parking fee that's not included in the price. I'm tired of these nickle and dime cash grabs. It's not in an area where parking is limited or valuable.

Room was not super clean i. e. found hair in the shower. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Many of the staff did not speak English and it was difficult to communicate needs.

a downside that you have to pay parking it’s not a secure lot or garage or in a downtown area

Perfect location and clean rooms

The parking fee was unnecessary. We park our own vehicles and still got a parking fee when the location has a big parking lot. We will hesitate to return because this is getting over on your customers . Not a good look

Needed more fruit selection at breakfast only had apples

Offer bananas or strawberries (soft fruit). Traveling with grand baby and not able to eat apples yet as chocking hazard due to hardness Has to eat soft fruit right now at current age (1 year).
