Hampton Inn & Suites Richmond/Glenside

No disclosure that the hotel was under renovations. Noise was beyond hours said and we needed sleep for a tournament.

this is the worst hotel I have experienced. For breakfast, there was no milk or yogurt; the juice machine was broken, and the waffle machine was also broken. I think they should fire the manager, their management has brought the hotel into disrepute.

Very friendly staff. Close to attractions. Great breakfast!

Seemed a tad bit outdated, but the hotel front desk staff mentioned upgrades were coming soon! Will be back! Wonderful staff and great place to stay!

They didn't have DirectTV, the Hampton Inn and Suites on Hull St have DirectTV

ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE AND BREAKFAST WAS A NICE ADDITION GIVEN COVID.

VENDING MACHINES NEED UPDATING; DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS. WE EXPECTED A NON SMOKING ROOM; ROOM DEFINITELY HAD BEEN SMOKED IN. THE HOTEL STAFF IMMEDIATELY MOVED US. WE WENT TO BUY WATER; FRONT DESK GAVE US SOME; NOW I HAVE $50 CHARGE ON CARD.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The housekeeping services were excellent.

I could hear noise from other patrons at times.

Wifi is slow and upgrade fees ridiculous and do not improve much. I stayed at a Comfort Inn in Newark, DE on the way home - great wifi, no extra charge.

Staff & breakfast was two main positives. The location was really close to our destination!

The bed was awful as well as the pillows. My wife and I couldn't sleep at all, the mattress was very lumpy and just uncomfortable. The pillows had no density at all you had to sleep stacked up to keep your head elevated at all.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms seemed very clean. Breakfast had a nice selection, hot and cold selection was excellent. Staff was outstanding, we arrived in town early knowing we would not be able to check in until very late. She got us in early.

Expensive...

This was our second stay in as many months and the staff is always very cordial and professional and truly seem to care about their customers. The rooms are exceptionally clean and everything is always in working order.

Quite, clean, Great comp breakfast! Staff very nice and helpful. 24 hour coffee and snack available. Great location..convenient to pretty much everything! I will be staying with this Hampton Inn and suites Richmond Glenside again!

How do I choose one? Room was very large and clean. Front desk was very helpful. Free breakfast wasn't to shabby either. Would recommend and stay again.

I wish the book in the room had more details about the restaurants. WiFi was a little slow on Saturday night. Didn't have any wifi problems any other time during our stay.

Beautiful and tasteful interior design and decor. Nice breakfast. Good location for visiting Richmond cultural attractions and easy access to highways etc.

I arrived at near midnight and was given a first floor room. In the morning in drawing the curtains to look outside, I discovered the glass pane in the window was broken, as if someone had smashed through it from the outside. They seemed unconcerned.
