Rooms feature traditional décor and offer a comfortable sitting area. "Onsite dining includes; Mel's Diner, Market Fresh Deli, Peet's Coffee and Boomtown Steakhouse, located on site. Boomtown Casino & Hotel shares the same parking lot as Cabela's sporting goods mega store. "An indoor pool as well as 2 fitness centers are available for guest relaxation." Somersett Golf & Country Club and the Reno-Tahoe International Airport are within a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Mogul Park is 3.7 miles away.

- Reception, I told them I had a 95 year old and she wanted him to walk through the casino instead of driving around to the handicap parking area to get to the room
- The pool is being renovated and they did not tell us that when booking.
- The room description was misleading. It said room with a garden view. It was on the ground floor, facing a road with no garden.
