Quality Inn Cherokee Riverside

The check in was a good experience.

We had 2 rooms and both rooms didn't look like that were cleaned well. Bottle tips and pills on the stained sticky carpet. The balcony area over looking the creek was in rough shape with old stained plastic chairs and water stains from the AC unit.

Breakfast was good but the coffee was VERY WEAK and creamer sucked. It was only half and half. View from room was pretty.

There was no toilet paper in room and only one kleenex. When I went to staff they provided it but no apologies or I'anything. It was like I was bathing them.

No microwave, no grab bar at bathtub

The beds were wonderful. The hotel was clean. We loved the stream behind the hotel and enjoyed seeing wildlife.

I liked the clean rooms, ample towels, kind staff, location and scenic view.

The only thing I did not like and it is minor, was the coffee in the front lobby. No taste to it.

Location is excellent. Backs up to the river. Moose walk up the river occasionally. We did not see it as we stayred only overnight. But it is a great location.

Breakfast was standard continental fare. Could have had a standout item. Otherwise okay.

Hotel was close to Casino and easy to access location. Room was clean and beds were nice. Bathroom nice size and clean too. We arrived early and had no problems getting in room.

We were absent most of our two day stay. The room, bed was very comfortable.

The room was nice, clean. We killed 6 spiders while in our room. Three in the clean, dry tub. Three other spiders out in the bathroom. We advised the front desk when we checked out. Apparently the room had not been used in a while and due to the rainfall so far, the spiders found a home.

The Smell from the room was unbearable!!! The person at the desk came to the room and said yes he could smell it but they were sold out and had no other rooms and he could come in and spray the room but then I would not be able to breathe ?So when I attempted to make other reservations at a different hotel then the person at the desk call the room phone and said he had a room for us to stay at but it had only one bed and not 2 queen beds. So this was all at 2:45 am so we took that room and did not get much sleep at all. The next morning at check out I ask to speak to the manager and I was told that I could not get a refund or a partial refund because I went through booking.com and that Quality Inn would offer reward points instead. I did not book with reward point so I definitely want a refund with money not reward points???I am waiting on my refund!!!

Location was good, staff was nice.

The room was dirty, smelled like rotten feet, the toilet rocked, there was stuff splattered on walls, the bathroom floor was dirty, the room was damp, the shower head was lower than your head and was a hand held type.

The staff was amazing and the bed was super comfortable. The river view was nice from the balcony. The room was very clean, you can tell they pay attention to detail when cleaning!

No microwave in the room. The pillows were too soft for my liking. That’s my fault though, I just forgot to bring my own.

I like they have breakfast in the morning. You don't have leave early in the morning to get breakfast. I would recommend they add bacon and scrambled eggs to the menu.
