About

This 5-star Hotel Le Saint Paul is located in the medieval village of Saint-Paul de Vence. The rooms at Hotel Le Saint-Paul are decorated in a unique Provençal style which gives a certain idea of the French art of living. The rooms take advantage of the view of the village, the valley, the surrounding hills or again on a panorama from the Alps to the Mediterranean! Our restaurant serves light Mediterranean meals. Pros +

    • Ambience, very friendly helpful staff, location, quality of furnishings
    • Location was great. We were upgraded to a spacious room. Front desk was helpful with reservations.
    • The location is incredible—a small, fortified medieval village that has been carefully maintained. Tiny shops, gelaterias, restaurants and art galleries spot the village. You can walk the remparts and there’s a view that is outstanding, looking one way to the mountains and the other to the Mediterranean Sea.

    Cons -

    • No drawer space. Turndown mediocre. Breakfast was expensive for what was offered.
    • No complaints here; we had a wonderful stay.
    • -The room could be a little cleaner.

The hotel is charming and offers a one-of-a-kind ambiance that feels both timeless and intimately romantic. Your hospitality makes every guest feel truly cared for. Friendly staff. We liked the restaurant with its local and seasonal Provençal flavors.

-The room could be a little cleaner.

Nice, good location, but expensive for what it is. Breakfast was also expensive.

I have asked the staff to wash one of my short 2 days before departing, the short was given back to me on the day of departure, wet and with the stain still on it. Bad service for a 5 star hotel, and no consideration for its clients.

I could not see more positive things about this hotel. It truly was absolutely fabulous and I cannot wait to go back. It made my experience in Saint Paul. Just absolutely incredible. It's perfectly located and it was so luxurious for such a good price. incredible staff and service. book a room with a view of the hills.

Hotel setting was exquisite. Just oozed class. Stunning suite. Beautiful restaurant location. Excellent meal.

Restaurant staff could have been more attentive. The suite has a beautiful balcony with stunning views, but is not enjoyable to sit at as there are two air conditioner extractors right on the balcony, noisy and blowing hot air right across the balcony. So we turned our internal zircon off the shut down the external unit, but the second uncovered extractor actually belongs to another room. Really disappointing as this is the balcony is one of the main attributes of the suite.

This is the most magical location i have ever experienced.

we went mid july and we were lucky the temps weren’t super hot but even so the air conditioning struggled to keep up.

The staff at the hotel were excellent - all very helpful, friendly and competent. The location is excellent.

There is no fitness center. We were told that one is coming. In the meantime, at least offer a yoga mat in each room.We paid for an upgraded suite. The bedroom AC worked well, but it was a little warm in the sitting area.

Convenient right inside Saint Paul de Vence. Very small hotel in old building with some charm .

When I was leaving my driver who was coming to fetch me called the hotel to ask if they could help bring my luggage down to the carpark which was quite far down. The manager who answered the call was very rude to him and told him NO and said it is driver's job not hotel's! When I heard about it I asked a male staff if he could help me and he acted innocent and kept saying the taxi driver is coming up to help. I believe it is the hotel's job to help guests especially since it is rated 5 Stars and charges high rates and i had asked before arriving if they help with luggage and they had said yes. Not a nice ending to my stay there. Disappointing as the staff had been nice overall to me before this incident.PS- to clarify the private driver I used was not outside the village. He had arrived and parked his car within the village. Lastly, this is about the hotel staff's attitude. They are very nice to guests but can be more polite to other service providers even if not booked by them.

Roxanne was very personable and helpful upon arrival, bellman was very friendly (and strong), beautiful property, absolutely stunning views from our room, soaps and lotions were amazing, food and service staff were 10/10 at our late dinner they were so kind to accommodate (I’m gluten free and they were lovely to make recommendations), valet was timely for our early departure

Nice dinner, charming location and building, large and comfortable room

Pigeons in the double ceiling of the bathroom made a riot

The staff were fantastic throughout reasons below. The location is beautiful.

The staff were very very helpful when it came to issues we had with our room. When we turned on the fans for the air con in our room, there was a strong smell of sewage, under closer inspection there was a lot of black mould within the vents of the fans. Which is surprising given the hotel only reopened for the season last week. We were offered a replacement room, but sadly it was a lot smaller. So stayed in the original. The staff handled the situation fantastically especially the assistant manager, but a slightly disappointing start. However, the most disappointing aspect of the stay is the breakfast - which sadly is not up to the level of the rest of the hotel. It was very basic and there was an extremely long wait for things to be replaced if they had been finished such as eggs, cheese etc. Sadly we were left quite disappointed for what was billed as a 5 star breakfast.

Breakfast was good but too expensive compared with other hotels.

Dinner was not great but at the price level it should have been.
