Pros +
- Le Hameau is beautiful with many outdoor spaces to enjoy the view. I experienced an injury which prevented me from walking (not incurred on the property), and the manager kindly accommodated me to stay an extra night so I could recover. My room #10 was large with windows on all sides. The property is not accessible and there are many stairs and different levels.
- Very pretty venue and a 15 min walk to the medieval village . Treacherous road tho with spotty sidewalks. Spacious rooms but very tight hallways , toilette and bathroom.
- The hotel is lovely and quaint. Very nice and relaxing pool area. All you need is available. Close to the town, the only negative is the walk to town on the road without a sidewalk is intimidating.
Cons -
- There is no option for dinner, only minor snacks which end at 17:00. Guests need to drive to a restaurant to have an evening meal. Any food in your room is strictly forbidden and the guest will be fined.
- We didn’t find the amenities as described. No minibar or safe. The aircon was inefficient to cool the larger room ( and we were there in September so 22 degrees ) The shower / bathtub was super slippery and one morning there was no hot water. A light bulb was out in the bathroom and the bedroom door creaked horribly so if I wanted to get something from that room it would wake whoever was in there. Our average price per night in Marseille, Genoa and nice was $380€ here it was €580 and no breakfast . Only shampoo and body wash in the bathroom and one bar of soap for 2 sinks. Dated decor .
- I had to use extra caution getting in and out of the bathtub.

Location within walking distance to St. Paul de Vence, beautiful Old World, charming and cozy décor, outdoor pool with beautiful views, attentive and friendly staff, nice breakfast served on the patio, comfortable bed, double doors that open to balcony with views, dining available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, parking available.
I had to use extra caution getting in and out of the bathtub.
Location, pool with view
None except there is no fridge :(
The place is very pretty and well maintained. The details are nice. The owners were just lovely. Enjoyed chatting with them. The breakfast and lunch were great. Above all it was relaxing and exactly what we needed after a long drive up from Italy. The classic design is so special and the original house is where Marc Chagall stayed for a bit. Historic
The gate only opens on one side and it was the only thing I would improve on.
The staff is very nice. It's a simple place with beautiful old rooms, charming. The food at lunch was better than I would have imagined. I had the ravioli and it was incredible! It's a quiet area up above on the road going to town. Helpful to have a car, but we took Uber.
The wifi connection isn't the greatest. So if you need to be connected for work, try to stay close to the reception, I think wifi is stronger there? Also, there were 3 of us women in a triple room. One of the triple rooms is better for a couple with a child. The other one is better for 3 women. lol My friend stayed in a single room that was beautiful! I will do that next time :)
Loved they had two golden retrievers on property! The location was awesome! A nice quiet spot removed from the busy coastline. Very beautiful property with lovely details. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the drink service poolside!
They only had three seatings available for dinner each night. We were not notified ahead if time of this or I would have made dinner reservations there for a night when I booked.
The location, the beauty of the property, the setting, the service and the staff.
A perfect respite 10 minute walk from old town. Staff were very helpful, breakfast fresh and plentiful and amenities excellent.
Is Magic is a a present for your eyes every place you look is incredible well done the mix of color and the floral all around the property. Incredible view from the balcony cosy bed and large bedrooms no commons for France. The owners she fantastic you got the French feeling from her with and her food so tasty. Also the pool and parking is a plus. Came back for sure
Full of well nourished flowers and fruit trees. Rooms super clean and stylish. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great night sleep in the hills of south France! Super well maintained property. Great view with infinite pool. Family run with two gorgeous and great mannered golden retrievers. Dinner is superb quality and made by the owner lady directly. The prawn with brandy sauce is particularly impressive - simple, fresh and with lasting brandy taste. Breakfast can be served right in front of your room or at the garden. A short walk of 15 mins by the secondary path to St. Paul as suggested by the owner. A very nice back walk. Overall a great experience and highlight of our trip.
The staff and charm of the place sells it! It was warm and welcoming. We loved the fruit garden, the views, and the overall feel of the place. The staff were friendly and engaging.
The location is a little removed but that could be a good thing too—depends on what you’re looking for.
The hotel is lovely and well located within walking distance of Saint Paul de Vence. The people on site were friendly. The room was large and comfortable.
It was during off season and virtually empty, so no restaurant or bar. Breakfast was ok. Jacuzzi wasn’t available.
The location, Welcome, The Apartment, The Pool, The Breakfast
Nothing we didn't like.
It was beautiful - the decor, the breakfast, the pool and the staff were all perfect. They accommodated for our dog and baby so well it made us feel so relaxed.
Lovely quirky hotel with lots of space, privacy and cosy corners
We arrived back after dinner at 2100 and the Reception and bar were closed. The staff had communicated that there would be charges if we brought drink into the room, so we had not bought anything in St Paul de Vence and couldn't take a nightcap in our hotel. My main gripe was the complete shortage of power outlets. I had to unplug a light to charge my phone.
Loved the hotel and grounds the pool area is gorgeous and incredibly peaceful Staff were lovely Breakfast was perfect
We booked last minute and got the only available room which we found a bit small next time will book a bigger one
Breakfast was nice. We just had the simple selection all fresh .The pool area and location were excellent . The walk to St Paul de Vence is very do able ... it is about a 15 minute walk . It's a good warm up for the small winding up and down streets in the town .... nearly all downhill on the way back .
Breakfast OkStaff were exceptionalEvening meal was excellent
Room could have been bigger but OK for 2 nights
