The pool and gym

The dirty bathrooms, the birds eating from the buffet at breakfast, the dirty seats everywhere, the pool sofas were super unclean, the kids club wasn't open, insects and flies everywhere, you need to pay for the gaming room...

We really enjoyed the structure of the Hotel, High quality of food and the stuff were always ready to help. We loved the breakfast and variety of the food.

I did booked for a all food on board option, but unfortunately the system in the hotel doesn't work as a normal hotel. For lunch we had a budget that we could use and order what we wanted, the food quality was really good but it took too much time to be served. The rooms where really nice and exactly like the pictures, but where not properly sanitized as they had cockroaches and ants.

The views and the beach

Not that clean and very expensive for what it is.It should not be a 5 star hotel, not even a 4 star.

-Lovely suites and amenities inc. spa-Very friendly staff. Excellent housekeeping (big up to Tamara for her warm welcome and friendly service). -Lovely moroccan cakes and fruits served everyday in our suite. -Free shuttles organised from and to the airport.

-Terrible smell in the garden on our arrival and following day-No free shuttles to the city centre-Understandably forbidden to swim in the beach as the sea near the hotel tends to be agitated (free shuttles organised to another hotel where the sea is calmer)

The property location is very good, however its worth mentionning that the suites with sea view do not offer sea view as such, there is a path separating the lodge from the sea. So you either have people walking or hotel employees reparing stuff and you stay with the curtains closed.Wierdly, we had three different hotels names printed on the towels, giving the feeling that it was unused stock from other hotels purchased by Tulum. Dishes took very ling to serve, as the staff explained, as they were missing glasses or plates.

The level of hygene is atrocious. The breakfast area inside the building is infestated with birds, that are not only walking across breakfast dishes but defecate i to the food. We could not even touch the dishes that were not covered. The personnel working without gloves, layers of greese covering stands. Additionally, it looks like the kitchen ventilation in the breakfast area is not working, so it was impossible to breathe because of the kitchen smoke.

Huge disappointment. Not a five star hotel.

This is not a five star resort. Staff mostly unprofessional. Birds sitting on the breakfast buffet and picking in the food. Horribly loud music during dinner. Several cockroaches in the lodge and lots of ants everywhere. Very bad smell in the bathroom (got fixed, but came back on the next day). Barking dogs at night and in the morning. Overall a huge disappointment, especially given the big price tag. Will certainly not come back.

Shortage of amenities ( clean towels, coffee capsules ... ) in the room, unresponsiveness of staff following our complaints (each day we had to complain about missing towels, coffee capsules, and water bottles). Presence of cockroaches.The restaurant menu is not diverse enough for 6 nights stay.

Amazing hotel Chalet and Amazing spa.. the staff extremely friendly. The swimming pool clean and the sea view just stunning. The garden with cup of tea was relaxing

Beautiful location on the ocean, large rooms, fantastic breakfast and an amazing staff, friendly and always happy to help!

Everything was over priced compared to other hotels in Dakhla (bar, boutique, yoga, kite). No wifi in the bungalow and nothing to dry your belongings. Restaurant (buffet) and beach bar closed with lack of diversity in the remaining restaurant. Restaurant/bar open to locals to party in the evenings or have brunch on Sundays. Be aware that swimming in the ocean is not allowed, too dangerous.

- staff was friendly and helpful although quite inexperienced for a 5 star resort. they were trying their best to help with our needs. - fresh orange juice at breakfast- free airport shuttle

- much to expensive for what they offer - 2 restaurants both with the same menu and no other restaurants near the hotel so if you wanted to eat somewhere else you would have to go by taxi- no maroccan food at dinner - they could easily introduce some Tagine, Couscous Zaalouk etc. - beach was not open (you are not allowed to swim there) you could only use the pool wich was too small for all the guests (not enough sunbeds to stay if there were many people)- the prestige suites are spacious and quite nice but very humid air inside, and always had to leave doors and windows open to air the room- cleaning was fair, stuff quite unexperienced and always left not enough towels

the breakfast staff was fantastic. Khalid was one of the best waiters I’ve yet to meet. the villa we stayed in was fabulous.

evening staff wasn’t as on the ball as morning and lunch staff.
